Ch 12

The next day

Carly wakes up to the sun shining on her face. She groans and buries herself under her blankets

Carly: "great, I forgot to close the curtains...again"

She groans again and gets out of bed, shutting the curtain

Looking at the time, she sees it's still early

Carly: "screw this, I'm going back to bed"

Collapsing onto the bed, she falls asleep within seconds

An hour passes and Carly wakes

This time, she looks at the clock

8:45

Carly: "I should start getting ready for the day"

She gets out of bed and walks into the bathroom, taking her medication and getting ready for the day

20 minutes later

Carly: "where is it, where is it?"

Carly digs through her dresser trying to find her hairbrush

Carly: "God, I can't even do the most simple things ever"

Carly continues to search through her room until she finds her hair brush

Carly: "finally, this is getting annoying and out of hand at this post"

She sighs and continues to get ready

As she is getting ready, she hears her ringtone coming from her phone. Carly picks up her phone and looks at teh text message

Kendall: "hey, just wanted to say 

thank you again for going with me 

to the event yesterday"

Carly: "even though it was boring at certain parts. I had fun"

Kendall: "I'm glad you did. I 

have to start heading to work. I have a ton 

of meeting with those who work at the Smithsonian"

Carly: "talk to you soon"

Kendall: "talk to you soon. Love you"

Carly: "love you too Ken"

The younger Keelin sister sets her phone down and finishes getting ready. Finishing, she takes her medication and grabs the slice of toast from the toaster oven

Carly: "I have my keys wallet and phone. Okay, I am good to go"

She opens the door and shuts it, walking down and out of the apartment complex. Once she's out of the apartment complex, she takes off running for her morning jog

As she is running, her phone starts to buzz. She stops and looks at her phone seeing that she has a message from Karen

Karen: "Have you decided on the 

restaurant for tonight?"

Carly: "there are 3 options that we can go to"

Karen: "sounds great, what are they?"

Carly: "do you like Greek food?"
