Ch 9

Back at Carly's apartment, an hour later

Maddie: "baby, I'm back with the food"

Carly: "here, let me help"

She takes the bag from Maddie and sets it on the kitchen counter

Carly: "What did you end up ordering?"

Maddie: "spring rolls, Pad Thai, fried rice, and deep-fried soft shell crab. I also got you a Thai Tea since you're always ordering this every chance you get "

Carly: "this smells so good. I'm really really hungry"

Maddie chuckles

Maddie: "I'm going to use the restroom"

Carly: "Okay, I'll grab some plates and everything to the living room"

Maddie: "sounds good baby"

Carly: "Also, can you grab my medication from the bathroom, I need to take it before it gets to late"

Maddie: "Okay, need anything else"

Carly: "no, that's it"

Maddie walks out and to the bedroom while Carly grabs two plates from the kitchen cabinet

Walking over and opening a drawer, she grabs napkins as well as forks for the both of them

Carly: "what else do I need? Right, coasters"

She opens up another drawer, grabbing two coasters since condensation is running down the plastic cup and onto the kitchen counter

Not wanting to ruin her table, coasters were the best option

Maddie: "here is your medication"

She hands the medication bottle 

Carly: "thanks"

Maddie picks up the bag of food and they both walk over to the living room

She sets the bag of food on the table, taking the styrofoam containers out

Carly: "when did this place open up?"

Maddie: "not too long ago, maybe a few days. I pass by it on hte way to class"

Carly: "I havn't had Thai food in a while, I hope it's good"

Maddie: "I'm sure it is. The place seemed pretty busy"

Carly opens her medication bottle and grabs two pills

She puts them in her mouth and drinks the Thai tea to help her swollow the pills

Screwing the cap back on and placing it on the coffee table

Carly: "want to watch something?"

Maddie: "sure"

Carly: "what do you want to watch?"

Maddie:" what about that new sitcom, Modern Family I think it was"

Carly: "sure, that sounds good"

Maddie: "do you have it recorded?"

Carly: "I'm pretty sure I do"

Maddie takes the remote and plays the newest episode of Modern Family

Maddie: "so what are you going to try first?"

Carly: "the spring rolls look good"

Maddie: "you love spring rolls, don't you"

Carly: "they are the best"
