Ch 3

The next morning

Carly: "morning"

Maddie: "good morning"

They both kiss

Carly: "How did you sleep?"

Maddie: "I slept well. I was exhausted all day yesterday"

Carly chuckles and kisses Maddie's cheek 

Maddie: "thank you for the dinner and the concert tickets last night"

Carly: "no problem, anything for you"

Carly starts to get up out of bed but Maddie stops her

Maddie: "stay a bit, please"

Carly smiles at her girlfriend

Carly: "of course babe. I think i could use the extra sleep before I have to get going for the day"

She gets back into bed and wraps her arms around her girlfriend

An hour later

Carly: :I'm going to head to the store, do you need anything"

Maddie: "can you grab some bagels please, I've been wanting them and I forgot to get some last time I went to the store"

Carly: "of course,I'll be back soon"

She grabs her keys along with her wallet and walks down to her car. Carly unlocks her car and climbs into the driver's side. before she is able to start the car, her phone starts to buz 

Carly: "weird, who is calling me this early" 

she picks up her phone and answers the call

Carly: "hello?"

Kendall: "hey Carly"

Carly: "hey Ken, what's up"

Kendall: "I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be in New York a few days later this week"

Carly: "wait really!"

Kendall chuckles at her younger sister 

Kendall: "I am attending an event at the Smithsonian-"

Carly: "oh no"

Kendall: "oh no what?"

Carly: "I see where this is going"

Kendall: "what do you mean?"

Carly: "no no no no"

Kendall: "you didn't even let me finish"

Carly: "because I know where this is going. I don't want to go with you"

Kendall: "please Carly, I need someone to come with me"

Carly: "get one of your friends or one of your employees to go!"

Kendall: "come on Carly, we haven't seen or spent time with each other in months"

Carly: "I really really don't want to go but because you're my sister... fine"

Kendall: "great, I will send you all the information for it"

Carly: "Okay, when are you flying in?"

Kendall: "I'm flying in on Wednesday. The event is Friday night at 7:30"

Carly: "Okay, do you have a place to stay?"

Kendall: "yeah I have a hotel room. The museum takes care of traveling and hotel fees so I'm fine"

Carly: "okay...Quick question... Is this the only reason why you called me?"

Kendall: "one of the reasons"

Carly: "and what is the other reason?"

Kendall: "I- hold on"

Carly: "okay"

A few seconds later

Kendall: "Hey sorry, I have to go, something happened in one of the exhibits and I need to go. I'll call you later tonight. Bye Carly"

Carly: "bye Kendall, see you soon"

The call ends

Carly: "well this is a great way to start the day"

She chuckles and takes off to teh store

At the store

Carly: "Okay, what do I need to get"

She pulls out a piece of paper from her pocket and skims through the list

Carly: "Okay, that's not bad"

She picks up a shopping basket and walks throughout the store

Carly walks to the back of the store where the pharmacy is

Pharmacist: "hello, how can I help you today"

Carly: "I need to pick up some medication"

Pharmacist: "can I have your name and your card?"

Carly nods and pulls her medical car out of her pocket

Carly: "Carly Keelin"

She hands the pharmacist her card

Pharmacist: "let me get that for you, give me a second"

She walks away

As Carly waits, she starts to get anxious, waiting on the pharmacist

Carly: "how long.. I need to get out of here already"

Pharmacist: "here is your mediation. You're due for your refill in a month. Before, you will get an email reminding you"

Carly: "Okay, thank you"

She grabs the bag that contains her medication and continues to walk around the store
