Coraline woke up all cheery that day and decided to make breakfast. She always had to make it form her mother, so she knew how to cook well.
She woke up that day with Draco asleep next to her and it made her feel all bubbly inside.
When she finished the food she stood proudly at the tip of the table with her hands on her hips as she inspected it. It was all set out beautifully.
Scorpius came down first with a drowsy look on his face as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He adjusted his eyes and saw her staring at him with a wide smile.
He couldn't help but let out a smile of his own at how happy she looked and walked over to her, kissing her cheek softly.
"Did you make this?" She nodded her head and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, watching him with a glimmer in her eye.
He chuckled and looked around once again, crossing his arms, "I got to say, it looks absolutely delicious."
Her smile widened as she pushed him forward gently, urging him to sit down. Not a second after Eli and Faye came down, Faye almost falling down the stairs.
They walked towards her and kissed her cheek, smiling at the thought of her making it all for them.
Other footsteps were heard as a sleepy looking Draco came down, the stern look still evident on his face even though he just woke up. She gulped and acted like nothing, pulling out individual plates for all of them.
She put out a plate for Astoria as well, not wanting to be rude and assume she wasn't showing like every other day.
"Who made this?" Draco spoke gruffly. She almost melted at the deep sound of his morning voice. She looked over to him to find his eyes already focused on her.
"I did", she spoke lowly as she put the last plate in front of him, "I hope you like it." He hummed under his breath and stayed still as she left his side.
𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨, 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜.
She couldn't help but let out a small smile at the soft demeanor he was only showing her.
"By the way dad, Happy birthday."
Coraline stopped in her tracks at his words and turned back around from making her way to the kitchen.
He nodded his head in a thankful manner and looked down at his empty plate, knowing she was looking at him.
"Happy birthday." She spoke softly, her voice capturing his attention. They all looked at her as well as she gave him a small smile and turned to the kitchen once again.
Faye and Eli nervously told him Happy birthday as well, him just nodding as a thank you.
Coraline couldn't believe he hadn't told her about his birthday. Maybe she could've planned something between them- but now it was too late!
She had to make it up to him.
