A woman dressed in a black Abaya with a long black veil which has some golden stone works drapped all over her body entered the building.
The clinking sound of her heels against the floor was the most uncomfortable one to hear.

The three hefty men in the building all stood firm and ready to welcome her, of course the clinking sound was a warning. It always comes with that.

"Magaji was a betrayer, death visited him at the right time." A sinister smile was plastered on her face as she spoke.

"Ranki shi dade." They said simultaneously.

"If any of you tries even the littlest of what he did... I believe you know the rest." She added.

None of them flinched, their heads were all ducked low, that's the work of the aura she posses, an intimidating aura.

"Where is she?" She asked adjusting the dark shades she wore.

"She's in the room, with Habib." The master spoke.

"Lead the way." She urged him.

Without any argument, he lead her to the dark room where Zubaida was sleeping.

"Tashe ta. Wake her up." Master ordered Habibu who was seated.

"No, let her be." The woman in black instructed.

She scrutinised the sleeping Zubaida and scrunched her face.

"Magaji just costed me a fortune." She mused. "She would have made a good pay."

"Sorry Ma."

"Save it, Dage. It's good that he received his right punishment." She turned to the Master.

Habibu heaved a sigh and wipe his face. The room was getting so tensed for him, he doesn't want to be involved in this. All he wants, is to leave this mess and be home with his family.

His brother's business is not his to worry about, especially ones like this.

"What do we do with her?" He asked.

The woman in black walked towards his direction, and poked his chest.

"What we do with her is none of your business, just do as you were instructed, be looking after her." She hissed and continued "I told Abubakar that you weren't fit for this, but he insisted!"

"I also don't want to be in your mess!" He retorted.

"Don't you dare begin that, kaji ni ko?" She raised her voice this time around.

It echoed in the room, startling a sleeping Zubaida. She slowly opened her eyes, she noticed that a ray of light was shining through the door, someone must have left it opened, she thought.

No one noticed her opened eyes because of the darkness. She listened with keen interest the conversation that was holding in the room.

"The voice." she thought. "I know it somewhere."

"Zainaba doesn't deserve this! You're a bad fellow!" Habibu spewed harshly at her.

"Zainaba? that's my mother." Zubaida mused to herself.

"And what makes you better than me, Habibu?" The woman laughed, it was a taunting one. It irked Habibu making him clench and unclench his fists.

"Baraka, you're evil! You're so selfish, you are very wicked!" Habibu lamented, he was fighting the urge to throw punches at her. Her sight irritates him.

A thud was heard, it echoed in the room, followed by silence, even the Master Dage didn't move an inch.
Habibu stared at Baraka with much contempt, his palm massaging his stinging cheek. Baraka laid him a resonating slap
