And a day will come,
When my smile will fade,
Any traces of me will vanish.

I will be forgotten,
Everyone will move on,
Like I never existed.

I will turn to a dust,
Blown into the thin air,
For that's where I belong; I belong to the dust.

Zubaida was sleeping peacefully on the bed, with a cannula injected to her left hand, while the drip was hung on a bag hanger.
After she had collapsed on the floor earlier during the day, Hayaat kept hearing the wails of Auwal which made her walked to the room and found Zubaida lifelessly laying on the floor.

She was quick to call the attention of Gaddafi who promptly called the doctor over.

"It's weekend, and doctors aren't usually around except for emergencies. And you know how her case is." He had said when Hayaat insisted on taking her to the hospital rather than wait for the doctor to come.

"Her situation is also an emergency." She retorted.

The doctor came few minutes later and did the necessary checkups, to which he finalized that something must have triggered her sudden attack, perhaps from her previous life. And her brain had tried recalling the thing, but it's a good attempt, tho still early.

"Please feed Auwal some milk, let me pickup Aisha from her cousins place." Hayaat said to Farida.

"Why? Where is his mother? Or am I now a babysitter?" She replied coldly.

"Farida! What is wrong with you? Didn't you see the condition she is."

"Hu'um," Farida shrugged her shoulders. "That's none of my business. As far as I'm concerned, I am not his mother nor his babysitter, so I won't do anything of such." She sneered.

"Farida, what's wrong with you? Ever since this girl came into this house, you've totally changed, and not even for once have you tried acting nice to her." Hayaat said.

Farida was quiet.

"He's with Gaddafi, take him and do what I said." Hayaat ordered.

"Oho, so, she's trying to lure your husband with her son, and you're here condemning me for showing my disapproval towards her. Why can't you understand that Ya Gaddafi has been showing her and her child more attention to any of us. Not even Aisha, his legitimate daughter."

Hayaat was quiet, truly what Farida said wasn't a fallacy but why does she care.

"And so what? He's my husband after all, and are you trying to say that Auwal isn't a legitimate child or what?! Farida! Ki kiyaye ni!" Hayaat angrily spat and left.

"Wallahi if she tries anything silly over Gaddafi, then I promise to make her life unbearable." She remarked.

Farida, lost her parents at the age of thirteen and since then, she moved to Hayaat's place. She being a cousin to Hayaat, legalized loving Gaddafi the moment Hayaat presented him to her parents as her lover, regardless of how everyone sees her as a sister to Hayaat. And up till now, she still loves him, that's the reason behind her outburst of disapproval against Auwal and his mother in their lives due to the attention she noticed him giving them.
