Chapter Thirty-Two

"Five girls. That's all that is going to be left. I feel like this whole thing has gone by so fast!" One of the girls said. Two cameras panned around us, to make sure they didn't miss any drama as we waited for the boys to come back from 'deciding.'

Although they weren't really deciding anything, I'm pretty sure they went in there and discussed who the producers told them to keep. It was frustrating for me; I wanted to go to bed. The day had been long enough. With 'Trayn' becoming 'canon', as Andie put it, and Nick become oddly annoyed with me.. My drama cup had been filled. And I just couldn't bear the thought that there was fifty-fifty chance that my two friends would get voted off. I knew for a fact that I would not be able to do it alone. But then again, they might surprise me, and I might get to leave. We can hope, anyways.

"Tonight is the announcement of the final five. We've gotten to know you all so well, that it's not going to be easy to say goodbye to some of you."

The words Harry said had been almost identical to the words said from the past voting of sessions. So it pretty much registered in my mind as 'blah blah blah'. They continued on with their spiels, while I stared at the interesting ceiling. It was a peachy color, one I had never seen before this show.  But since the show- I had seen it a lot.

"If we call your name, please come forward and collect front row tickets to our next concert at Madison Square Garden," Liam smiled, motioning to the little packets laying on the little table next to them.

Oh, great! Exactly what I never wanted. Now I really, really, really hoped I was not chosen.

"Jules," the name rolled of Niall's tongue as he waited for the girl to meander her way down. She squealed quietly, trying to conceal it.

"Trinity," Zayn spoke quickly, as if trying to reassure his new girl that he wanted her there. Andie and I shared a look as Trinity grinned like a Cheshire cat while waltzing down. There was definitely a silent conversation that went on between the two as he handed her the packet.

"Al," Harry yelled ecstatically, laughing once he saw my face. Which was of pure annoyance. I slumped my way down, while listening to Simone drone on and on under her breath how I didn't deserve to be here. Harry leaned over to whisper to me as my fingers wrapped around the paper. "Sorry. But hey, one more week of catered food!"

"Thanks for trying," I laughed as I dodged his hug and walked towards Jules and Trinity.

At least those two weren't annoying and could hold an actual conversation. It could be worse.. And honestly, the only thing that made me want to go home, was how much I missed my mom and my friends. Although, Nick still hadn't returned my texts and calls from earlier, Caleb had a new girlfriend who apparently hated my guts, and Devin was a horrible texter. He hardly ever replies and never can carry a conversation past three texts. Most of which would be 'K', 'Ha' or 'No lol'.
