"Greetings Lady Pfeiffer Rosenberg. I'm countess Nhieda Barsony of the Barsony Earldom." She curtsy. Napamata ako kay Ruth. Nakangiti lang naman siya pabalik sa akin. A countess huh? Anong gagawin naming dalawa, mag ha-heart to heart talk?

"Nice to meet you Madame Barsony." I bowed just like a gentleman should. Her brow twitched as she closed her fan harshly. Tinitigan niya ako ng maigi. Nilakihan ko ang mga mata ko. Staring contest ba 'to? Madalas ko tong ginagawa noong elementary.

"Aish! This won't do!" nagulat ako sa biglaan niyang pagbuklat ng pamaypay at marahas na pagpaypay sa sarili.

"Put your hands in front together." aniya kaya kaagad ko namang ginawa. Nagulat ako nang bigla niyang hampasin iyon.

"Are you hiding a dying chick there? Huwag mong ipagsiklop My lady. Just gently lay one hand on the other. Like a feather..."

Nang magawa ko na ng maayos ay hindi niya ako pinagalaw. Pinatungan niya ng libro ang ulo ko.

"I told you Ruth, I do not need to learn this thing!" Hinagis ko ang libro na parang isang graduation cap. Hindi makapaniwalang napamaang sa akin ang Countess Barsony.

Sumalampak ako ng upo sa upuan like how I usually do.

"I know how to use these utensils so let's skip this one and..." Napatingin ako sa tea set.

"That...my lady, a cup of tea and coffee should be held differently, a cup of tea should be held by meeting the thumb and your index finger through the-"

Kinuha ko ang maliit na cup ng tea at inisang lagukan lang ang laman niyon. Kah! Refreshing! Halos malaglag ang panga ng Countess napakagat labi lang naman si Ruth.
