"Hey babe are you sure I'm at the right place?" I spoke into my phone. Ever since Jordan told me the news about the dance coach being a available position, I've been getting calls and messages from the warriors PA's it has been nothing but a blessing.

I haven't coached a whole team since high school and that's was hard.

"Yeah just come through the large double doors and I'll meet you there."

I hung up the phone and turned my car off. It's now or nothing. Grabbing my bad I fixed the shirt I was wearing and checked for any smudges of lip gloss.

I was always gonna come prepared when it came to a job, not that I needed one though. I made sure my car was off and locked, and made my way to the metal double doors.

Walking in I could see a group of girls sitting on the bleachers, some on their phones and others either talking to each other or watching the boys play.

"I spy with my little eye, lol sis that you?!" Turning my head I could see Draymond drop the ball in his hands and run towards me. I smiled welcoming him in my arms.

"Boy you all sweaty and shit got me hugging you."

"Girl like you ain't finna be the same the way you finna work them girls." He laughed looking over the the pre occupied girls.

Laughing I draped him up and watched him walk back o the practicing boys.

"Is that the famous Ms. Simmons I've been hearing about?" My eyes met with couch Steve.

"Oh my god hey, thank you so much for inviting me." I was basically cheesed up.

"He invited me into a hug which I complied.

"I still don't know how you take care of Poole." He shook his head.

"It's a struggle everyday but I make it work." I smiled.

"Man y'all over here talking bout me like I'm not in the same building, let alone in the same space." Jordan sneered.

"Boy you'll be ok." I slapped his arm.

"Man and y'all be wondering where I be getting them bruises from she over here pulling a Amber." He rubbed his arm.

"Stop telling people I abuse you, and you sky be having bruises, you prolly be sucking on to arm like a lil weirdo." I rolled my eyes.

He mushed my head making me slightly fall back but I caught myself.

"You know what ion even wanna talk to you, but when I sue you for 15 milly don't complain, bye go take care of yo wack ass dance team."

He turned around flipping his imaginary hair.

"Don't do no them!" I pointed a finger at him.

"Well, you see what I mean I have no idea how you do it, but you can go ahead and introduce yourself to the girls and get started on whatever."

I think it's kinda weird the girls did it have their own studio or at least some time to themselves. Nodding my head I put my stuff down on one of the smaller bleachers and walked in front.

I clapped my hands to get their attention as I watched them put their phones away and turn towards me.

"Ahem to my name is Jay'lena and I am the new warriors dance coach for the next few months it's a pleasure to coach you all's be I hope we can get along and....create great memories, and questions?" I smiled up at them.

They all shook their heads no, and thank god cause I ain't have no type answers for them.

"Ok could everybody put their belongings away cause we're gonna start stretching."

And so it starts.

A few nights ago I had came up with a simple dance for them to do, but I don't think it was basketball game appropriate.

"So I got a dance for y'all but ion think we would be able to do it at a game....see I'm not used to the Pom poms and shit so please bare with me.

Hearing the sound of a door opening in came a group of the team, as the headed to the bleachers. Looking at the clock I aint even notice that their practice was over, so I guess most of them decided to stay and watch.

"Oh no see I was fine when it was just us be they in here..." a skeptical Jasmine said. She was a pretty good dancer from what I had seen in the past hour.

"I promise y'all gon be fine, matter of fact ima go first just to get y'all comfortable, and remember it's just to see where y'all at." I tried to sooth their nerves.

How you a dancer for a basketball team but don't ole being watched...

Walking to the middle of the court I watched as the music start getting everyone's attention.

Multiple applauses were heard as I neared the end of my preference which made me happy. Dance was really a get away, but business was my passion I couldn't get away from.

"Alright y'all turn." I said out of breath.
