I stare at him. "Do you even love me? Do you love me enought to marry me? or are you pitying me because I carried your kids?" I pushed him off of me. I saw how his eyelash fluttered how his mouth curled up. He still looks so fucking perfect for me, I can't even breathe. We're already old enough to still play this kind of game but damn if I said my heart didn't almost jump seeing him. I saw him took off something in his pocket and put it in my palm. Napatingin ako dito.

"Love? Saying i love you is overrated, don't you think?" He stepped back and walk back to his chair as calm as possible while my whole system is about to erupt.

I was just staring at him, staring at his every move. Like I've always been and he pressed his lips together. He smile before looking at me. "There's no way that the mere word love can describe what I feel for you, Rhythm Lane."

Napaatras ako. What the hell is he talking about? A flush crept up my face I could feel the heat. "What are you even..." Hindi ko na naituloy yung sasabihin ko. Nasapo ko yung ulo ko at napailing. I heave a sigh. I turned to the door again.

"Just... let's talk next time. I will talk to Morrigan. Let her do what she wants."

I went to my pad like a blur. The day passed. The ring he gave me was there in my desk. I forgot to give it back to him. Nakatulala lang ako, I could still feel the heat in my back. I could still feel him, I closed my eyes at sumandal sa sofa. Kelly was busy doing God knows what. Hindi ko alam kung kelan kami huling nag-kita. Morrigan keeps on texting me asking about his father. I told her we'll talk with her dad bukas. Molly's with Heegan of course. She's daddy's girl and it's fine with me.

"I thought you were just fling or whatever? I thought you were supposed to marry someone?" I asked him. We were drinking for almost 2 hours and here he is bawling his eyes and heart out. He keeps on dialing Kelly's number even when he knows it's out of reach.

He gulped the wine. "We were... but somewhere along the way I fell. He kept on telling me not to. He cried you know, when he said he didn't want me he was crying so bad I could kiss him. How can I not fall for him?" Nakangising wika niya. Ako naman naaalala ko yung sarili ko nung mga panahong desperado ako kay Heegan.

Tumingin siya sa akin. Then he asked. "Bakit hindi parin kayo magkasama ni Svern?" Naubo ako bigla sa tanong niya umiinom kasi ako. Grabe naman si Koya walang awat ang tanong niya, gosh. I wiped my mouth, he chuckled at me. Funny yon?

I tried pinching him. "I don't know. Do we really have to? Malalaki naman na yung mga bata. Okay naman kami na di magkasama." I shrugged at him then I heard my phone ring and I6 looked at it. It was Heegan so I ignored it. Nagkatinginan kami ni Carlisle, nakataas pa kilay niya.

"Answer it."

Umiling ako. "Ayoko nga. Do you know he was asking me to marry him. Baliw diba?"

Sasagot sana siya nung nagring nanaman phone ko. I scoffed tapos sinilent mode ko. Epalogs talaga ito.

"Why don't you answer it? Malay mo importante." Wika nanaman ni Carlisle. I rolled my eyes on him.

Siguro mga nakaka anim nang tawag si Heegan tsaka ako nagdecide na patayin nalang phone ko. May isang phone pa ako for bussiness so it's fine.

"Tell me Lane what do I have to do para maniwala si Kelly na mahal ko siya. It's been 4 years, Lane." I saw tears pour in his eyes. So I hugged him to comfort him.

"Lane..." Medyo lasing narin kasi si Carlisle.

"Ano ba! He's drunk!" Pilit kong inaalis hawak ni Heegan.

I was looking at the door kung saan sila lumabas. Kaming dalawa nalang. "Bitawan mo na nga ako! Ano bang problema mo? He's my friend!" I pushed him but he held my nape. Malapit nang magkadikit labi namin.

He whispered. "I don't care, you're fucking mine!" Then he kissed my lips forcing his tongue in. I felt million waves through my body and my brain stopped functioning. I was supposed to push him away, I was supposed to get mad for draging my friend away but here I am letting him kiss me like he wants to devour me.

We were gasping for air after that mind blowing kiss. "You're mine, Rythm Lane. You're the one who bore me my kids and the one who will be with me from this day one whether you admit it or not..." He whispered in my ears.
