Carter's father was jailed for twenty four years with the others while Helen and the other scientists was given award for telling the truth.
They unveiled that these big corporations were actually planning to create a specie that can multiple by feeding a lot. Their use is to produce fossil fuels that can damage the atmosphere massively. Apart from that, these corporations can lead the earth's leaderboard by selling those fuels. But then they failed and was judged guilty for the evidence left in the island...
Months later, Connor haven't talked to Carter yet. They haven't seen each other though. But now that they are going to a college abroad, they just wish themselves a good luck.
Because for the record, Connor thinks that those lives that were killed back there are not just something that can be forget about. If their ship didn't crashed during a storm, those big corporations has probably created a signature sign in the world already. They could cause a large imbalances towards the other countries.
