You walk out of the bathroom and Cypher is no where to be found in his bedroom. "Cypher..?" You blush at calling his name embarrassed from what you did earlier. You hear him call out to you from the kitchen and so you walk into the kitchen taking in a delightful smell. "Whats that smell?"
"I'm making tea, do you want some?"
You nod yes and sit at the table (("doesn't seem like he heard anything...not like I'm upset or disappointed that he didn't since it's for the best, it would have been really embarrassing and awkward"))
You let out a sigh and lean back in your chair
"Is something the matter?" Cypher places a cup of tea Infront of you and then sits on the chair beside you with his own cup in hand
"Ah...n-no just um.. thinking about the mission" you laugh awkwardly
"I see" he responds as he takes a sip from his tea, you also do the same
Silence fills the room while both of you enjoy your teas but after awhile you speak as you look at him "why is your mask a bit up?"
"Ah..that, just wanted to really take in the smell of the tea, I think it's quite wonderful, what about you?"
You nod "yeah, it really does smell nice, thank you for making me some Cypher" you smile softly at him and you see him blush a little
"Of course" he gives you a soft smile as he takes a sip of his tea
Cypher is silent for a few seconds before speaking again "come back to me safe and sound, okay? If things go south and your in a difficult situation please don't give up. Think about me..if that would even do anything"
You see him frowning and you giggle softly "Cypher" you move your chair closer to his and place your hand on his as you lean your head against his shoulder "I'll be fine and if something happens I won't give up because..." You look up at him "I wanna come back to you" you blush as you say this and hope he doesn't think what you said was weird and squeeze his hand a little
He places a kiss on your forehead and caresses your hand with his thumb "promise me you will then" he whispers softly
Your face gets even hotter and you pinch his hand playfully and not to hard "I promise, but please stop teasing me so much"
"Ouch" he chuckles and turns himself to completely face you as he takes your hand up to his lips and kisses it gently. You feel his breath against it as he speaks "I don't think I ever will rose" he kisses your hand again
You burry your face in his chest "your so mean" you giggle and look up at him
"Only to you my little rose" he gives you a light kiss on the nose and lifts you up into his lap as he hugs you tightly and digs his face into the crook of your neck
You hug him back with a smile on your face and giggle. The both of you stay like that for a while but then he pulls away
"You should go and change into your agent uniform and get ready, you only have around a half hour left" he runs his gloved fingers through your hair
You sigh "yeah I guess I should" you lift his hat a little and kiss his forehead. You see him grin and you just smile. "Take care of yourself when I'm gone and don't overwork yourself to much" you get up and walk to the door
"Ah [y/n], take this" you turn around and he hands you a little item that looks like his hat but sort of like a keychain "it's a little gun buddy, I thought you would like it and maybe it would help you on your missions when things get tough" he places his hand on the back of his neck
You take it and smile at him "I love it, thank you Cypher, perhaps it has a camera in it?"
He chuckles "No, but if that's what you would want I would gladly make one like that for you"
You blush and turn your head "might be useful one day so why not"
He nods "I'll keep that in mind then but for now you need to get going"
You look back at him and give him one final hug before leaving. He hugs you back and whispers in your ear to make it back safe and you just hum as a response. You both separate from your hug and you leave his room to go to yours and change. After your done you head to the jet waiting for you. Your gun and pistol you picked out are already on board so you don't have to worry about that. You make it to the Jet and spot Reyna but before you sit next to her you go to your Vandel and put the buddy Cypher gave you on it.
You smile at it and put the Vandel back as you then go and sit next to Reyna "Hey Reyna, ready for the mission?"
"Of course cariño, the question is, are you?"
You nod but then think for a while "what's the mission even about? I don't know what the goal of it is and no one has told me"
She looks at me with an eyebrow raised but then she starts to explain as the Jet starts to take off
"Kingdom is going against many rogue radiants in Rabat and their loosing many soilders, they want to get rid of those radiants as fast as possible and Brimstone thinks that we are the perfect pair for the job"
"So we are just sent there to be killing machines?" I ask
She nods yes at me and I laugh quietly as I lay my head back "of course" I mutter
"Hmm~ why do you say that?"
"It's just, that's almost always been my main role in my life, train so I can protect and kill, to just obey all orders I'm givin, but hey what can I do about it, its better than protecting that asshole of a scientist that controlled me for more than half my life"
She nods in agreement "and you have a family here Yowai, just know that" she closes her eyes and it seems like she's done talking
You also close your eyes and smile a bit (("family...huh..maybe your right"))
