Christmas (2021)

Christmas 2021.

A fun day.

We went down to my grandmother's house to celebrate.

One of my gifts was a small radio controlled car. My dad got one as well, so naturally, we went out and raced them on the street. My dad kept trying to bump my car and make me crash. He failed.

Then it was time for dessert.

I was standing there trying to decide if I wanted cheesecake and if so, how much?

The knife was balancing on the edge of the table. It wobbled a little.

I took a step back. I was wearing sandals.

Not a second later, the knife fell. It brushed my ankle, leaving a small cut.

I'm just happy I moved when I did.

Because had I waited another second, I probably would have ended up with a knife in my foot.

I did end up getting a slice of cheesecake. It was good.
