Kami rushed through the crowded forest on foot, pressing off the ground with all of his might.

"Shin, don't you dare go on the front lines!" Ms. Seo shouted, "We need you collecting information!!"

Kami gritted his teeth, "Noona is in trouble. I'm not going to leave her stranded."

Ms. Seo took a deep breath, "She has peacemaker. Even if her squad perishes, she'll be fine."

"So what if she has peacemaker?? She's surrounded by a battalion of troops! There's no way in hell she can make it out!!"

"We'll send Park once he gets back-"

Before Ms. Seo could finish her sentence, Kami darted from the tent.

"Shin!!"

Kami gritted his teeth, reaching for his waist.

I left Eclipse's Edge back at the tent... I don't know if I'm going to make it out alive.

With the little information he received of her location, Kami dashed east until he reached the edge of multiple hostile camps.

They're camping out to cut her squad off from retreating. I should take them out to make escape easier.

In his pocket, Kami touched upon the multiple sheets of paper, wrapping them around his body, underneath his outfit.

Let's do this.

Kami dashed into the first camp, snapping the neck of the first person he could reach. From their dead body, Kami drew their dagger, blinking next to his second target. In a matter of five seconds, the boy slaughtered the camp of seven Nenam prompting him to move to the next camp.

Without alerting any of the hostiles until it was too late, Kami mowed through the eight camps blocking his way.

I'll save you, Noona. I promise.

Kami continued east until he spotted a familiar figure limping into thick foliage.

"Moka noona!"

The figure turned her head, visually sighing in relief before falling into a sitting position.

Kami rushed toward the older woman, scanning her wounds. Deep cuts, burns and cracks filled the woman's arms. Dirt caked her face, only washing away with the blood running from her wounds.

"Where are the others?"

"Dead," Moka replied, "I only barely made it out myself."

"Are they still pursuing you?" Kami asked.

"I think so," Moka breathed.

As she finished her sentence, three squads of hostiles emerged from the thick foliage around the pair.

Suddenly, a streak of blue darted through the group of hostiles before a crescent blade of energy sliced into a solider in the middle.

"What are the chances that three of us are in the same area?" Kami chuckled.

In a gory display of blue and red, large sharp aquatic rings burst from the first soldier struck, spreading to the rest of the platoon, causing the rest of the soldiers to erupt into a rain of diluted blood.

"For a person who doesn't like to be known, he sure is flashy," Moka commented.

"Come on," Kami extended his hand, allowing Moka to pull herself on her feet, "We need to get moving before more catch up."

The pair continued on their way back to their base with Kami keeping a lookout for potential ambushes.

It's quiet... Too quiet...
