Nako sighed softly as she heard her door swing open.

"What are you doing still in bed?" Mrs. Yabuki questioned.

"I don't have the energy to go to school, Mom," Nako replied.

Mrs. Yabuki crossed her arms, "I understand that you're feeling dejected from Park Ji Hoon's death, but laying around here won't do anything for yourself or us."

Nako rolled in her bed, now facing her mother, "What am I supposed to do, Mom?"

"Get up and start training," Mrs. Yabuki answered, "Do you know what your teammates are doing right now? What if they're training and you're laying at home because you can't bring yourself to stand up? It's been three days. I know that's not a lot of time to mourn the death of someone you care about, but we're treading on the threat of a war--and we cannot afford to stand around idly while another country might be planning to take us down."

Nako let out a deep sigh, rolling from her bed.

"Fine."

Bae stared deep into his hands. Not a single thought existed in his head, but all his worries flourished. The boy sat at the edge of his bed--his uniform laid neatly at its foot.

With his brother's departure he felt the need to do something as well, but the thought of his teammates demoralized him. He wasn't sure how Y/n felt, but he knew very well he and Nako were equally demoralized.

"I can't just sit around like this... I need to do something."

Commander Lee paced around her room, deep in thought.

If I send a team of capable people, I can ensure that the ongoing problem in CUBE will at least be thwarted. The question is who...

The woman paced to her desk, pressing against her temple with one hand--shifting through her cabinets with the other.

"Summon the list of people I am about to read off."

Kyu smiled as he felt his electrical current connect with Hana's, creating an arc of yellow between the two. Through this connection, the two could feel each other's thoughts--what they were feeling, what they wanted, and what they worried about.

"Hey, love birds," Ms. Shen called, interrupting the pair's connection, "We're being summoned."

Kyu lifted his head while Hana sat up.

"Summoned?" Kyu asked.

"I don't know what for," Ms. Shen sighed, "But if it's the three of us, chances are we're leaving the country."

The trio made their way to the commander's office, finding themselves amongst a crowd of six others.

"Alright," Commander Lee started, "Now that you nine are here, it's time for the debriefing."

Kyu glanced around the room, pursing his lips at the thought of working in such a large group.

"You nine are going to travel to CUBE to retake its lands from the YGE threat. While not an easy task, this mission should not be difficult for you. I am assigning Xiaoting as the squad leader and Wonyoung as the leader if anything were to happen to Xiaoting. Your guys' mission is to get to the capital, form a plan with the CEO of CUBE and do whatever you can to regain their land."

Ms. Shen crossed her arms, "Who are we going against?"

Commander Lee tossed a small leather book toward the Hanam, "That book contains all the information you need."
