On this Monday morning, I woke up with 4 conclusions:
1. The Mafia exists.
2. Sebastian Salgadó is the next upcoming leader of said Mafia.
3. Sebastian Salgadó is most definitely a dangerous, ruthless killer.
4. I think I have feelings for him.Why is it that the last one scares me the most?
I huffed as I looked at myself in the mirror. I had developed deep circles from the lack of sleep I had last night. Away from Sebastian, I was able to actually think about everything that happened. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the last 48 hours.
I wish Estelle was here so I could vent. She was still staying at her dad's house but, I'd see her later at school. Honestly, I don't even know how I'd go about it, "Hey Stelle, that whole 'Sebastian's in the Mafia' thing is actually is real by the way, and I actually saw him shoot a bullet through someone's head this weekend. Anyways, wanna get our nails done this week?"
Yeah, that conversation would go real smoothly...
I ran my hands through my hair while adjusting my outfit before turning around and heading downstairs.
After Sebastian dropped me off yesterday morning, I had successfully slipped through the constant attack of questions they would've given me. I took a deep breath as I made my way into the kitchen, mentally preparing for the verbal attacks.
To my surprise, all I saw my older brother Nasir wearing an all black suit while he was on the phone. As he saw me, he quickly ended the call and smiled. I almost tripped on my feet as I ran to hug him. I squealed as his arms wrapped around me, giving me a bone-crushing hug,
"Nas! Where the hell have you been, I've missed you!" I breathed out after we let go and I looked up at his face.
"Business has been hectic lately, but I knew I needed to visit my favorite little sister" he hummed deeply as he ruffled my hair.
I rolled my eyes as I smacked his hand away, "I'm your only sister dimwit" I grumbled. He lightly chuckled as a response.
I climbed up on the kitchen counter and grabbed an apple turnover from the plate of pastries. As I chewed, I took in the appearance of my older brother who I hadn't seen in a couple weeks.
