Good news...

I was doing sort of good for the last few days. Although i was having a huge problem in abandoning the alcohol from my system but i was doing good. I tried my best not to be near anything that had alcohol in it and especially the parties i was invited to.

Mylo told me about one of the parties someone from the basketball team was throwing. And we all know what the typical teenage parties has, but this boy who was throwing the party was from an extremely rich family in our town so whatever the typical and really basic and normal party has, you triple it. There was going to be all kinds of drinks, tequila, vodka - which was secretly my favorite - beer and other drinks i was trying my best to leave them out of my body. I simply refused, reminding him what the last party did to me and the fact that i was fighting my drinking habit. I explained myself to my sweet friend and he nodded

" Woah... You're actually trying really hard. I'm so proud of you " Mylo said and he patted my hair. I smiled at him and nodded because his words were just what i needed. I looked into his warm amber eyes and all of a sudden and unintentionally i said something

" Why don't you take Lola with you. I'm pretty sure she'd love to tag along" i told him. Lola wasn't as social as i was - if you can call getting wasted in parties and talking to strangers being social - she prefers hanging out at less crowded places. He scanned me for a while. He knew Lola as much as i did and i couldn't guess whatever he was going to say

" Let's just watch a movie together. I kinda miss having both of you for myself" he said and i raised my eyebrows in amusement. He was right after all. I really missed spending time with both of them. Since i stared going out with Mat, i kind of didn't spend much time with them alone like we used to do.

" Sure, movie at my house. You bring Lola and I'll take care of the rest" i told him and he nodded at me. I slipped inside my car and turned on the engine and left the school parking lot towards my house where i met mom and informed her that my two friends were coming over. She didn't say anything about it because it's something we used to do a lot before i started to mess up my life but the smile on her face was definitely a good one

I went to my room and laid on my bed. Bringing out my phone and clicking on Audine's phone number and called him. I waited for him to pick up so i can talk to him, the same way i did for the past two weeks. I didn't know how i reached here but i really liked hearing his voice every evening. Something about him and his voice was just relaxing. And apart from the daily and really long phone calls we are doing every day, Audine never went a day without texting me during the day. I receive his good mornings every morning.

Audine..

He was an eighteen year old boy and unbelievably funny and sweet. He made me feel comfortable and somehow distract me from wanting to drink because basically all i do is talk to him until i get really sleepy. He told me a lot about himself and i did the same. Staring from day one until now. I usually like to keep my life private, especially for those who i didn't know but this boy gave me warmth and i loved it

The very first time he FaceTime me was few days earlier. I hesitated for a second because i wasn't so sure but then i refused to let my insecurities take over - because apparently I'm less social when I'm sober - i just picked up, holding the phone in front of my face only to see an angelic figure on my screen, blue eyes shining even through the video call and wavy hair that seemed so soft that it makes you want to run your hand through it. On the other side of the phone, Audine was sitting outside somewhere. I only noticed a tree behind him. I almost couldn't say anything for the first few seconds and i was anxious but then it all faded away when he started speaking to me with a smile on his face.

And i thought that Mat was something...

" Hey Riley" he said. I fixed my position on the bed and talked to him. And that was what i did for the next half an hour. I was telling him about how my day passed by and about the movie i was about to watch with my two friends. And it's when it crossed my mind that he had never told me about his friends or about his social life
