CHAPTER 14: ATTEMPT ESCAPE

*Author's POV*

(Y/n) snapped her eyes open and sits up from the futon quickly, she starts to breathe heavily and tries to calm herself down. Nakime opens the shoji door and looks at (Y/n), she quickly rushes to her side as she notices (Y/n)'s breathing pattern. (Y/n) soon composes herself and looks at Nakime, "Sorry" She says but Nakime stays silent.

(Y/n) gets up from the futon and walks out, leaving Nakime in silence. She walks around the place, opening a few doors to check for an exit, until she comes to a conclusion
'There isn't an exit, maybe this place is run by a demon. Only they could teleport demons in and out, unless you're Muzan' She concludes,

She buried herself deeper in thought, 'So does that mean Nakime can get me out? I mean, she does disappear whenever she plays her biwa. So maybe that's my way out! But how am I going to convince her?' 

(Y/n) didn't see the person in front of her until she bumped into them, she says a quick apology before walking around them,

"Hold on, what are you doing here?" She freezes for a little, before continuing on her way "I said hold on!" (Y/n) heard the footsteps of the person coming up fast, so she started running but so did the person. (Y/n) ran up and down stairs, however so did the person

'Damn it, I don't have my sword' (Y/n) thought as she ran even faster, yet the person still caught up to her,

"Is this a game to you?! I can kill right here and right now!" The being says, "But you haven't, have you?" (Y/n) replies, she stops and looks over the railing of the stairs, (Y/n) climbs onto it and stands up. (Y/n) breathed in a little before jumping down to one of the other platforms, well... tried to, she missed but managed to grab onto the railing of the stairs,

(Y/n) breathes in and out heavily as she looks to where she jumped, she saw the person that was chasing her. It was a male, with shoulder-length black hair that faded into red and blue at the ends. He was grey and had some visible veins on is head, he had yellow markings under blue-eyes his eyes , but was his eyes that caught (Y/n)'s attention.

His eyes were engraved with Lower Moon 1, her eyes widened a little before she flips backwards on the railing and getting down from it. (Y/n) quickly walks away from there and continues on her way, 'Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot! That was a Lower Moon 1!' (Y/n) silently freaked in her mind, she looked around to see if anyone was there.

After giving it the okay, she went into a room to collect her thoughts. When she closed the shoji door, the man was there, she quickly opened the door again and ran out with the man following behind her, she turns a corner but the man was in front of her.

"Now that was very rude of you, wasn't it?" He asks as he grabs both (Y/n)'s arms harshly, she winces a little but stares straight at him. "I wonder why you're here? Lord Muzan doesn't like humans" (If you're wondering why I put Muzan, I found out that they can say Muzan but not his last name) He started to pull (Y/n) around as she struggled in his grip,

"Speaking of Lord Muzan, I wonder how he is doing today? Maybe just wanting a little blood on his hands could help him if he's angry" That made (Y/n) stop struggling, "Or maybe he would just love to kill another demon slayer, he does like to kill them" The man continues on, 'He's trying to scare me, I mean, I know Muzan still eats humans but still' (Y/n) thinks.

"But then again..." The man trails off and mutters, (Y/n) then goes back to struggling in his grip. He sighed as he hits her on the side of her neck, knocking her out (Damn, twice in a row), unaware of a set of eyes glaring at him hatefully as he lifted the girl in bridal style.

*???'s POV*

I lift the human girl in bridal style, I have to admit she is cute. I stayed silent for a little while "You know... it is rude to be stalking people" I say, Daki comes from the darkness "And it's rude to take things that belong to people" She growls as she forcefully grabs the girl,

Daki glares at me, eyes full of hate but when she looks at the girl, her eyes were replaced with love and adoration. 'What's so special about this human?' I think to myself as she cradles the girl in her arms, "She's mine, so stay the hell away from her" Daki mutters,

"But she'll be mine soon enough" I say 'What am I saying?! I don't even know this girl!' I think to myself, Daki's glare darkens at me more. "Stay away from her, Or I'll fucking kill you" She says darkly, and walks away with the girl in her arms.

I feel... angry, angry at her for taking the girl, yet happy that I got to see her. She seems strong yet fragile, she doesn't need anyone to protect her but I wanna be by her side forever! I could protect her when the world throws something at her but she can't help herself,

I could be her knight in shining armour, forever...

*Daki's POV*

That bastard! Touching MY (Y/n)! My precious (Y/n), you must be so tired from being chased by that stupid demon. I look at the beautiful girl in my arms, 'Oh how I wish I could just escape with you in my arms~ We would be together for ever and ever! But Lord Muzan could find us, and hurt you'

We went into one of the rooms with a futon in it, I laid her on the futon and covered her with the blanket. I stared at her for a while before laying down beside her, I caress her cheek as she sleeps.

Her skin is so soft, I pinch it a little but stop when she stirs sleep. 'She's so cute when she's sleeping' I play with her hair a little, before stopping.

She'll be mine no matter what!
