it's been a week into the holidays and i have accepted the fact that y/n doesn't like me back, but at least i get to spend these holidays with her.

she has a three weeks left of hers while i am on hiatus for a month, i don't what i'm going to do when she is in school, maybe go sight seeing with my family and hang with old friends.

I hope engenes are also taking care of themselves, i miss seeing them.

I get up from the couch and knock on y/n's door, no answer

"y/n?" i ask, still no answer

i slightly open the door and find that she is sleeping, i smile as she looks so cute. She's hugging the stuffed toy i got her a few days ago at the arcade. She's wrapping her arms around it and as i accidently knock over a small bag she had on the ground, luckily it wasn't too loud. She snuggles closer with her stuffed toy.

I take a seat on her bed and realise half of her hair is covering her face, i lean closer to move it further from her face. Under her deep sleep, she grabs my hand, i don't move.

I can feel my cheeks go red, good thing she isn't awake to notice how flustered i am right now.

She is still holding my hand and intertwines her hands with mine, i quietly gasp and just let her continue. I giggle at the thought of this happening often...

"you're so cute" i say and continue to watch her

she all of a sudden opens her eyes and doesn't move a muscle..

"oh, you're awake" i say and slightly laugh as look down at our hands, clasped together.

she gasps loudly as she notices "Oh my gosh, i'm so sorry!" she exclaims while letting go of my hand and i just repond quietly

"i-it's okay, don't worry about it"

we laugh and she stares at me for what feels like forever

"are you okay?" i ask

"yea, yea haha" she answers while giggling. I look away and realise y/n/s mom is at the door, watching us

"MOM!" y/n yells and aunty just laughs and closes the door

I look back at y/n and she is covering her face, embarrased

"haha, hey" i get her attention, she looks up at me "don't cover your beautiful face like that"

she just hits my chest "yah, what beautiful face?" she hides under her blanket

i slightly lower the blanket where she is covering her face and rest my hands on her cheeks "that beautiful face" i say while looking at her

i let go of this moment and slowly get up to leave the room, forgetting i left my ramen resting with the hot water. But then i remember what i was going to ask her, i hesitate at first but then manage to get it out of me "y/n, do you want to go out tonight? with one of my hyungs?"

"really? uh sure" she excitedly gets up from her bed "where are we going though?"

"uhhh, we'll see! let's say its a suprise!"

"okay hehe" she giggles then goes into the closet, finding her clothes for later i suspect

"o-okay" i say and leave the room, so glad i got it over with. I got back to the couch and text Jake-hyung

me:

hyung! do you want to go out tonight with me and my friend i told you about the other day?

i turn the phone off and hope he replies soon, i continue to play games on my nintendo. Hours pass and my phone blows up with notifications. I open it to see that it's jake-hyung, finally.

my aussie friend:

nikiiii!! i'm sorry for late reply

i took layla for a walk and went to the convenience store

but i am free now so i can make it!

where do you want to meet?

i would love to meet your friend!

i then realise what i have done, jake is going to meet y/n. What if he ends up falling for her? What if y/n ends up falling for him? No way, jake isn't her type, i think.

Wait, is he?

I invited him because i feel bad for letting him down last time, and i haven't seen him in quite a while.

my aussie friend:

niki, are you okay?

why are you leaving me on seen?

hello?

is something wrong?

i grin at the thought of jake getting closer with y/n than me but shrug it off

"jake-hyung would never do that to me" i say to myself while replying to his texts

me:

ohhhohh jakeee hyunggg

meet at xx-xxx-xx 8pm

bring your car please

my aussie friend:

ahhhhh,, nikiiiii

fine

okay

see you there

stay safeeee

"actually, it's not such a bad idea to bring him, after all he could help me" i say, with a smirk
