"Ugh!" I groaned while tugging at the strands of my hair. My annoying hair wouldn't cooperate with me no matter what I did. I attempted to put my hair up in a ponytail but it would either look weird or it lacked volume.
"Haha!" Akira chuckled, amused by my antics.
I looked at him, unimpressed.
"What's so funny, huh?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing, nothing!" He replied, slowly getting off the bed and walking towards me.
He went behind my back, looking at my unamused reflection in the mirror. Then he started twirling my hair around his finger.
"What exactly do you want to do with your hair?" He asked in a calm tone.
"I don't care to be honest. I just want it out of my face!" I huffed.
"How about I do some braids in your hair?" He suggested, smiling.
"Yeah, sure!" I answered.
So he did. He started off by brushing my hair and separated them into two sections. Then he braided them making sure that no hair was out of place and finalised it all with two elastic bands.
I was surprised with his hairstyling skills. Where did he learn to braid like that? I touched my hair, feeling the style and noticing that it had a lot more volume.
"So... What do you think, love? Is this OK?" He asked, nervous for my reaction.
"This is amazing, Akira! How did you learn to braid? It looks so cute!" I gushed.
His face reddened and he smiled, relieved with my answer.
"Oh? Well, when I was younger, mom would let me braid her hair sometimes! I guess all that practice paid off in the end!" He answered.
"It sure did!" I replied.
Then I kissed his cheek with a smile on my face.
"Thanks for styling my hair for me, Aki! It looks amazing!" I remarked.
Akira smiled at my adorableness and kissed my forehead.
"Anytime, my love!" He exclaimed.
