If I broke down now
Right in front of you
Would you ask the reason
And take me in your care
Would you question my state
And find the reasons that hurt me
Would you keep my secrets safe
Keep them locked up in closets
And not spill them
If I trust you will you trust me back
Will you be there like you always have
Will you worry for me
And comfort me until I'm well
If I cry and become a mess
Will you keep me as one
Even when it cuts you,
While you pick up my shattered pieces
Will you still stick together
But even if I ask you these questions
Don't answer them
Cuz I'm afraid that-
I may hear things I don't want to,
That my little happy bubble will pop
That you may not be what I thought.
