Wandering with a flutter in my heart
Searching for a certain someone
I spot her amidst specks of yellow
Radiating my heartbeat as she walks by
She's a daydream wrapped in the night sky
The world asked me to speak of her beauty
I stood there speechless, mortals don't talk of stellars, Aphrodite
The nectar in her eyes, honey dripping from her gaze
She's the elixir of life and I'm the old man counting his days
My love is haunting me, but terror never felt so right
Ashes to my core
The domestic fire I embraced long ago
The burns don't hurt, the flames are tamed
For her, I will, a thousand times again
The spark on her hand, in her skin and the-
venom in her eyes, has made me too addicted to let her go even in my dreams.
She's the smile she wears, the melody in her laugh
She loves me, she loves me not
All my bouquets and flowers are gone
Love with you is worth the ache
Half of me disappeared when you looked away
I've become a vortex sucking off lives, still hollow in the end
Her lips were wine red, stains from the bloodshed
A war inside me, conflicted to stay or leave
Please be a crime scene covered in my fingerprints
I don't understand but I love you
I don't know why but I love you
