The next day I entered Shop class. Honestly, I felt really good about myself last night since I hit it off pretty well with the Preppies. I power walked to my station ready to start the day. However, as I turned around to get my toolbox I saw a familiar face.

"Hey, (Y/N), right?"

Oh great...

"I'm not looking for any trouble, okay?" I said bluntly. Over time, I realized the 'Vincent' boy I yelled at was the leader of the Greaser clique and self-proclaimed King of Bullworth who was notorious for his hot-headedness and paranoia.

Johnny's your stereotypical outdated bad boy archetype and with the way things are going with me here, I seriously don't want any trouble, especially from the likes of this James Dean wannabe.

"I know, look, my temper gets way out of hand sometimes..."

Sometimes is an understatement...

"Let me make it up to you, I swear. I'm sorry, (Y/N)." I looked up at Sir King Johnny, I couldn't help but feel some sort of remorse for him. Damn! Sympathy always gets the best of me.

"You see, I found out the other day that my woman, Lola was cheating on me."

"Oh..." I made a grimace. "Look, I'm sorry for how I acted too. It's just that I was having a horrible day. I found out false rumors were being spread about me. I kinda just wanted to be left alone."

"Oh, so we cool?"

"Yeah."

"So I take it you don't want any help on your bike?"

"No. I'd like some help."

Johnny smiled at me. This is probably one of the first times I've ever seen a Greaser boy smile. It actually kind of wholesome. Then suddenly, Johnny leaned in my direction and whispered.

"Say, let's blow this joint, (Y/N), let me show ya around town."

"What?" Skipping class? Are you insane?  The fact that he's not paranoid about getting caught being truant when he's paranoid about everything else is beyond me.

"Johnny, I said I don't want any trouble."

"C'mon, it'll be fun, trust me."

To be fair, the rest of my day would be excruciatingly boring, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to cut class. Plus, I had never done it before. It's not like I could get expelled for it.

Johnny and I subtly walked out of the class but once we did I made a mad dash away from Shop class. Looking back, I don't think Neil really cared whether who leaves class unattended or not.

"Wait up!" Johnny laughed. Soon as he caught up to me. He opened the garage to reveal a flawless bicycle. I'm no biker but it was pretty badass than what I assume a normal bike would look like.

"Let's take this baby for a spin!"

Hmm, maybe Johnny takes better care of his bike than his hair.

"Oh, but I don't own a bike." I sheepishly ripped some skin off my thumb.

"Hop on." Does he want me to hop on the back of him? Is that safe?

I hesitatingly jumped on the back of his bike and suddenly,

SWOOSH!

This greaser's biking skills caught me so off guard, one second we were in the garage, next we were on the road to town. I held onto him for dear life, maybe too much. I had squeezed my hands on his lower hips for support.
