How could I forget what happened earlier this year with this freakazoid sniffing my hair??! Not gonna lie, Earnest is the prime reason I don't communicate with the Nerds that often because of how much of a CREEP he is."Of course! The most pathetic, gross, dirty-minded Nerd IS Earnest!" Petey snapped his fingers in realization with me.
Out of my vision, Johnny pulled up to the Auto Repair Shop on his bike popping wheelies.
"Hey Johnny!" Peanut ran over to him, "(Y/N) and the short kid is here!"
"(Y/N)!" Johnny exclaimed. It's like Johnny's whole mood changed from angst to genuine happiness when he said my name.
I waved at him subtly. Then it hit me, what if word got out that Bif and I went out on a date? That would completely ruin my reputation in Shop and the whole clique wouldn't trust me nor help me out at all! I guess word hasn't got out yet. Johnny seems happy to see me and so does the rest of them.
"We just found out that the Class President wrote this letter to (Y/N)." Lucky excitedly spoke as he ran up to Johnny to hand him the letter.
It took him a bit long to marinate the contents of the letter, but when he did absorb the violating words into his greasy head, boy was he mad...
"Hey, let's not get too hasty, Johnny! It's New Year's Eve, we should be celebratin'!" Peanut reassured him.
"Yeah, you're right fellas," Johnny calmed down, "(Y/N), are ya still comin' with us?" I gave Johnny a quizzical look.
Oh! The New Year's Eve party! How could I forget?
"Yeah totally! Where's it gonna be?"
"Lemme write it in your address book."
"..."
If you think I have an address book you must be 80, oh my gosh.
"Here's my cell, just punch it in the keys on the bottom."
The Greasers and Petey huddled over me in awe over my cell phone.
"Woah, (Y/N), sick phone!" Petey geeked. I mouthed a quick thanks before turning to Johnny.
"What's that? I ain't seen nothin' like that before...lemme take out my book, it'll save us time." Johnny wrote in his rugged address book with its faux cheap leather peeling off of it.
Ew, fungus could be growing in that.
He ripped out a page and gave me the address, "C'mon gang, let's bounce."
The Greasers followed Johnny on his bike most likely to New Coventry as Petey and I stared at their leather-studded coolness.
"So I guess you're gonna go to the party without me, then?" Petey whined.
"Aw, Pete--"
"It's all good, I gotta get back to my dorm anyways, I'll see you in class tomorrow." Petey waved goodbye to me and sprinted to the Boys' Dorm. I sighed as I put my headphones back on my head. I started walking back to the Girls' Dorm.
***
Figuring that I wouldn't be doing anything really for the next couple of hours, I was going to go back to my Dorm and chillax. I dunno, maybe I should go to Poppy to log onto the desktop's Instant Messager. That was until I almost bumped into a certain Prep...
"Oh sorry!"
"Watch it!" Gord winced in disgust, "Oh, (Y/N) it's you."
"Oh hi, Gord! How have you been?"
