Chapter XII: "Christmas Miracle (pt.2)"

Jimmy and I finished our dance. We totally nailed it! There was applause from the crowd. Both he and I bowed, then ran backstage together.

"We killed that!" I exclaimed.

"Hell yeah!" Jimmy cried out.

Jimmy and I high-fived each other.

Petey ran toward us. "You guys--you guys were so good!"

"Hey, thanks, man!" Jimmy said as he patted Pete's arm.

"You guys should become exotic dancers or somethin', 'cause that was seriously awesome!!"

Both me and Jimmy just gave each other a confused look.

"Uh thanks, Pete!! That's such an interesting compliment!" I excitedly said.

"So... You guys doing anything after this?" Jimmy asked us.

"I'm free."

"I'm not doing anything."

"Great! Let's hang out in Old Bullworth Vale. First, you guys go change into warm clothes. We're gonna be out in the cold for a hell of a long time. Wanna meet outside the Boys' Dorm?"

"Sounds good! Boy, I can't wait. I love hanging out in town during Christmas time!" Pete said fondly.

"I'll be there."

"Alright let's meet in 15."

Pete, Jimmy, and I were on our way to the dorms. I had to split away from Pete and Jimmy so I could get changed.

"Alright, so I'll meet you in front of the Boys' Dorm, then. I promise I'll be quick!"

Pete and Jimmy nodded, then departed to the dorm. I turned my back and began walking towards the Girls' Dorm entrance. I had not a care in the world when suddenly...

"Hey."

I quickly turned around to see who was behind me. I loudly gasped. I almost armed myself with my pepper spray.

"Bif!" A smile quickly formed on my face. "Oh my God, you scared the crap outta me."

"Hi there, I'm sorry I scared you." He playfully said as he ran his fingers through his hair.

There was an awkward pause between the two of us. I eagerly looked at him in anticipation. What was he gonna say?

"Oh, um--I saw you perform on stage. You were great."

"Thanks!" I giggled. "I'm seriously flattered, but it wasn't all that great."

"I heard what happened with Mandy. It is pretty great knowing you memorized all that within a few hours."

"Oh. That's surprising you knew. I guess word spreads pretty fast around here."

"It does."

I took a brief moment of my time to admire how tall Bif was in comparison to me. He was like a tower. His height was balanced out by his muscles, though. Damn, he was pretty shredded. You could easily recognize his muscles through his thick sweater and loose gray dress pants. He wasn't super buff, but he definitely had an athletic build. My eyes weren't on his eyes anymore. They were on his body.
