When Maine got to the room with Alaska, he gave a smile as he looked at texas, himself leaning against the door, "hey southie." Texas head dropped. He's trapped now, so shit
Alaska laughed softly, sitting back on his bed with tennessee. Tennessee watched as Maine started talking with texas and he decided to just talk with Alaska.
"Guessing he's good with the talk," tennessee joked, as if it was an adult talking about the birds and the bees with a teenager.
Alaska gave a laugh; her smile showing calmly, "yep, he's the best at getting a point across when it comes to that stuff."

"So, you're telling me you love him, you feel like you shouldnt, your scared you're already gonna lose your friendship if meetings with both of you start again, and your an idiot so you don't realize your just avoiding asking him out since you're scared?" Main questioned, watching texas.
"Yea- what was that last part?"
"Come on texas!" Maine sighed, shaking his head, "you call each other pet names, you can barely stay away from each other for longer than 5 minutes, you do simple tasks for each other, and when meetings were happening regularly, you two were still like this." Maine stared at texas, who nervously looked away.
"Tell me, where is he right now?" Maine asked, making texas sigh.
"He's in a meeting-" texas phone binged right as the beeting buzzer went off, and Maine rose a brow.
    "Check your phone."
    "I... don't think thas nece-"
"Check your phone." Texas looked down as he brought his phone from his pocket and he couldn't help but to smile, only to go red and look up as Maine was smirking. "Where is he, Tex?"
"..the kitchen.." Maine grinned, shaking his head.
"And you said you go back to normal meetings to-" texas phone beeped and Maine smirked larger. "Tomarrow. You know what you should do tonight?"
Texas swallowed as his eyes widened and he gripped the stool under him. "No, I know what you're going to say, it's not happening."
"Oh, yes it is." Maine walked over than hummed, "or maybe you wanna check your phone first?"
     Texas looked at his phone.
'Hey, I'm in the kitchen if you wanna hang out still' 'gov decided we don't have to stay in the meeting  now that Washington threw coffee at him lmao' Texas smiled and shook his head, "theres no way I could risk-"
"Oh shut up; with a grin like that you might as well be slowly dying at your own hands to be not with him romantically." Main gently grabbed texas shoulder, going over to the door with a hum before opening it and gently shoving him out, "now act like I'm actually being mean, ok?" Texas rose a brow, only to jump back, "NOW LET ME HAVE MY GIRLFRIEND FOR AWHILE! GO TALK TO YOUR BOFRIEND," and with that, the door slammed.
Maine turned to Tennessee and Alaska, who were currently stringing bead bracelets, "that went great." Maine smiled, leaning against the door calmly. "How are you two?"

Texas jaw dropped, honest offense going through him before he begrudgingly went to the kitchen. When he got there cali was making more cookie mix, and he glanced at texas, giving a smile, "Hey! Was Maine screaming at you-?" Texas laughed nervously, walking over and sitting on the counter.
"Mhm.. so uh, about what Austin didnt say?" Cali laughed some, smiling.
"Sorry, we wanted to mess with you some." Texas rolled his eyes fondly at that, chuckling quietly.
"It's fine.. how was the meeting?"Texas asked this while averting eye contact, finding himself lucky cali was still mixing the cookie dough.
"It was good, we had to talk about possibilities of drastic weather but it really wasn't much to bad, it only really got rhiled when Washington was falling asleep. Gov yelled to try and get his attention and he just hurled the drink, cup and all at gov- he was fine. Washington apologized but gov still decided to call the meeting." He looked at texas, seeing the other's awkward posture again. "Firefly, are you-"
Texas hopped down from the counter feeling like he wanted to run although he stayed planted, "I'm fine- I just wanna talk to you about uh.." He noted that cali was now needing the cookie dough so his eyes focused on that, "I know um.. oh God starting sucks. Ok, so I wanna say I really appreciate um.. everything you've done and I've loved getting to.. get closer with you. I never thought I would have built a friendship with you since we constantly just yelled at each other and argued but it's been.. honestly one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever been given the chance to have."
He took a breath before looking up a bit more, swallowing down hard, "I also never thought I'd risk ruining it... I'm sorry if this ruins everything and I- I'm scared sayin  this but i.. I guess I feared it would happen when meetings started again, so I mean.. what's the real risk? God I'm rambling, I mean.. I know we don't agree on a lot of things but I really like you and so I was wondering if.. you might want to go on a date?"
He met cali's eyes and was met by... shock. Oh God no- "I'm sorry I knew this would happen I know I just ruined all of what we didn't even have. I'm such an idio-mmm?" Texas felt his lips be shut by another pair against his, and at first he almost toppled in shock but his arm was around cali's torso and cali's hand was holding his jaw, causing him to comfortably kiss back.
At first his eyes had been open and starring into California's, but they shut slowly and both their lips were etched into smile-like shapes.
When they parted texas gasped for air and his forhead found cali's shoulder where he panted for a minute, as he heard cali breathing too, just a bit less harshly than themself. "You.. but you-"
"Don't make me shut you up again, you idiom." California smiled, seeing texas slowly lean back again with what cali could describe as joy on his face.
"Who says that would be so bad, goldie?" Texas saw the small smirk on cali's face as he leant down and gave texas jaw bone a gentle kiss.
"Cookie dough, mind me getting this for ya?" He heard texas giggle and it made the west state's heart flutter.
"Ya know you aren't supposed to eat that raw."
"I make my cookies without eggs."
"Hmm that scratches out salmonella than.."
"Fully edible and safe to eat," cali said this with a hum as he kissed texas jaw a few more times.
"You're the dork," texas laughed as he felt a small trail of kisses on his neck, pushing cali away carefully, "finish making your cookies."
Cali rolled his eyes, moving to finnish the cookie dough while texas watched him with a stupid grin on his face. Austin was currently squeeling in his head and texas felt like it rang through his ears, making him shake his head slowly and look down.
tex thought of the date and realized it was friday.. "how does Sunday sound?" He questioned, looking up smiling at California. Cali was about to raise a brow and texas only grinned more, "for our date."
Cali chuckled gently and nodded, continuing to put cookies on the baking sheet, "sounds great, Firefly.. I love you- pfa, your face is more red than your people's political views." He teased texas as he watched the south state.
Texas rolled their eyes and grabbed one of the already made cookies, "I love you too.. and that's why I'm confiscating this."
They both smiled like dorks.. and it was official- they were dating. And Texas couldn't hate more that Maine's plan worked.. but, he was also happy for obvious reasons.
As cali baked, texas just watched with that same stupid grin. He didn't even say anything, he was just.. happy.
"Wait- Did Austin know and that's what you thought we talked about?" Cali questioned, making Tex just slowly nod, "... Did you just blame him for acting weird and throw him out at me?"
"I.. asked if he wanted to talk with you first."
"YOU TOTALLY BLAMED HIM!" Cali accused, laughing at the south state who looked away.
    "Maybe just a bit-"
"Just a bit? You threw him under the bus!" Cali couldn't stop laughing and texas huffed.
    "I regret this-"
"No you don't, you love me." And that did it. He stole the southerner heart all the more right there.
"You're correct on that second bit.."
"Aww, how cutes, now move so I can get my food and leave," new york said this as he walked toward texas, carefully getting a plate from the cupboard behind the larger state, to which he saw both cali and texas insanely embarrassed.
"What, don't wanna get caught, don't do lovey shit in the kitchen. Everyone knows anyhows; ya goofs." New York shot a grin as he got his food from the fridge, leaving the south and west alone.
They both stayed where they were silently before they both busted out laughing. God they were being Dorks, but neither really cared. They were happy.

When cali finished the last batch of cookies and put them all up, he looked back at texas to see his eyes still trailing him. It made him smirk as he walked over and grabbed texas hand, "cmon, let's go to bed, yeah?" Texas grinned and hopped off the counter, calmly fallowing cali to go up the stairs. As they reached cali's room and went in, cali fastly shutting the door behind them, only to push texas against it, "care if I kiss you?"
Texas blushed but gave a hum, "not at all, gold-" he was cut off, again, by california kissing him. This time it was a little rougher tho, almost needing.
Cali carefully licked over texas lip, getting granted entrance pretty much immediately as requested. Do, cali's tongue first traced over texas teeth before traveling to explore every spot in it, tasting the snickerdoodle that lingered on his taste.
Soon they pulled away for breath, and cali couldn't help but smirk at the sight of his lover panting in front of him. Carefully he moved to texas jaw and started kissing it carefully. He felt texas shiver as he started kissing on his neck and cali gave a hum, licking his neck a few times teasingly before moving back up to plant another kiss on Tex's lips.
Texas smiled, his hands finally moving up to carefully hold cali's torso, to which cali carefully pulled away and smiled, "I've been waiting awhile to do that." California spoke softly, smiling at his lover calmly.
"Well, I hope it was as nice as imaginable."
"Even better.. cmon," he went over to the bed with texas, only to stop and turn around, "I can grab you a new hoodie for sleeping in if you wanna take off your binder."
Texas gave a hum, taking it off under the hoodie pretty easily, "it's fine, I'll just sleep in this one, it's comfy." Cali grinned and nodded, going over to his closet to throw on texas hoodie which he had cleaned.
Walking back over to the bed, texas jokefully tackled him onto the bed, and cali laughed from it, wrapping his arms around texas and rolling over with him on the bed, simply stopping when Texas was under him to give his giggly lover another kiss.
     "I love you, Goldie."
     "I love you too, Firefly..."
   Good God they're Dorks.
