Tons of unique activities he could indulge his interest in, and yet the Omega could not erase the growing urge to be somewhere else rather than this specific room. Something about the way Jungkook would become one with the intricate worlds of his paintings had always kept him mesmerized.
His little sudden entry was met with an auspicious reaction on behalf of the Alpha. Not only he was pleased to have him by his side, there appeared to be a careful increase in the man's speed. Whimsically amusing, though, Jin still obstinately wanted to adhere to otherwise.
Sitting next to Jungkook quietly, all he tried to play his mind with was the new piece of art. Alas nothing much could be guessed from it yet, but then the Omega was watchful of every act that could distract the young artist. Talking was banned until the Alpha called out the unnecessary prohibition himself.
"I've never had a company as silent as you. You can actually talk, Seokjin. It won't do any damage to my work; don't worry." As he bent down to pick a smaller brush for delicate strokes, Jungkook reassured the older in amusement. May be a tiny secret or not, still with no mind of concealing, he literally yearned to hear the Omega.
Straightening his back as he held the front apron of the chair with both hands, Jin was no afraid to show his adorable excitement for the allowance, "What are you painting, then?"
"Patience here now, love! In time, everything will reveal itself. Just a little more, and you'll describe every detail like you're the owner of this piece!" Face was turned towards the direction, and one supposedly strong Alpha had to resist against melting. The pout the Omega depended upon conjured up pictures of a porcelain doll one with wisdom niched inaccessibly to only quench thirsty sight; not a solitary brush from rough hands that could break the vulnerable being was permitted.
"I thought you understood my sufferings here!" Undeniably, Jin was right. He had endured enough that patience rightfully pitied and allowed his fragile existence to be intolerant of delays. However, gaining awareness among the thunderous hurricanes of life was to blind optimistic vision once in a while; every wait didn't mean the outcome wasn't wanted.
"I never promised never! I just said in time." Smiling at his creation that funnily was incomplete yet, Jungkook restated as he attentively filled the lifeless edges with color.
As the man beside never happened to be a filthy liar, the words sufficed the Omega. Still, something else mercilessly gyrated in a clingy head that was set to be lonely anew.
"Jungkook, do you really have to go to that hiking tour? Taehyung will leave for another business trip. Hyun-su will be taken to his mother. I'll be left all alone in this mansion."
"You know my offer has stayed the same all along, Seokjin. I still can apply your name to the list; we can go together." Turning his body towards the source, Jungkook didn't care to lay a palm messily laced in paint on an anxious thigh; the owner needed to see the seriousness of the determinacy a man in love could possess.
"And you know I told you I can't. True that we're done with the clothes, but this is still half of the way. We need to choose the place, the models, and a lot of other mind-numbing details. Hoseok strictly wants me to be there and supervise everything along with himself." Clear to a sensible audience, Jin was inclined to choose his job over, else his response would turn out to belong to another realm.
Proceeding back to his work, Jungkook was to only sigh heavily before speaking, "It's your job. That's why I'm not pressuring you into anything."
The Omega was pleasantly introduced to the other's considerableness for quite a few times by that moment. Still, that didn't mean his heart wouldn't skip a beat every time the act was nakedly sprawled before him. If anything, he could sue the younger precisely for that smooth crime.
