Come on! Come on! Come on, Jin! Fuck it! Wake up. This is a dream. This can not be real. It is only a dream!
Lying was for no use. Knowing, however, couldn't help at all, either. He still used it over and over again. Maybe one dimension would get kind and lead him out. It was a beyond foolish idea, but that was what to be expected from him. Stupefied to infinite, he just stood true to its meaning.
The silence the Alpha chose to speak with was not what he could appreciate at the moment. He desperately wanted to be interrupted. Anything was just better than watching the flowing wavy lines and the form, the colors and the shading, the smile and the life. He couldn't bear seeing someone who wasn't him. Nothing was recognizable from this him.
The Ruritania background which surrounded him was never like any part of his real home. The heavenly beam of sun and his lips didn't suit anything that was connected to him. It was a universe farther than the style Taehyung's portrait was worked on. His was somewhat a combination of a portrait and a landscape. All of this being said, it made nothing less blood-curdling. The more light his eyes picked, the more terror seeped through his soul.
Time for long lists of justifications! Kim Seokjin, he could think of a way to keep him shut down. There had always been the usual excuses for that creature.
What for the creator, though?!
No way out of all these colorful subjects spread in this huge world, he was to be a favorite unless he was loved or the very least desired.
Ethics were never ever the mean of the talk any longer. Moral was buried under the ground Taehyung had decided for them to mate. The new issue was higher, clearly not reachable. There was no edge to grasp. Shock was shocked itself as to where they could find for their broken limbs to climb this mystery cliff.
Still hugging the unreal imagination tightly to suffocate, he brought his fingers in hopes of not feeling anything. Yet, they came to an aching stop. His fingertips felt the dampness of the undried paint under them. The shakiness of his hand couldn't be helped as he tried to see the color on his skin. With all of these agonized attempts, he still saw through.
"Why does it sound like your entire world has been crumbled, Seokjin? What is so wrong with my painting?" There was an unpleasant limit to Jungkook's patience. Rejection wasn't something the young Alpha assumed he could take one more time again. Needless to say, this time it was worse even when he had his sanity to assist.
What he asked was to inject some guilt into the Omega's mould. He knew very well his piece of art deserved to be turned down, especially when it came to this particular person. Being shameless supposed to change impossible.
Jin wasn't sure where he was anymore, but apparently he could still hear the ghosts of his nightmare haunting him.
"What is so wrong with this?" Repeating the precise question, he asked himself in a quiet tone as his eyes stayed on his stained fingers. The response in his head had already blurred his vision.
Furiously, the Alpha threw his tablet and stood to grip the older's wrist turning the Omega to face him, "Don't act scared like you're blind to everything!... Just stop sticking to what Taehyung wanted people to believe for god's sake."
"I'm not sticking to anything, but this... It's still wrong, Jungkook." He was so fazed by the news that nothing else could make him bothered. Not even the bone-breaking pressure around his wrist. All his left energy and concentration were rising to his eyes and lips to seek the untold truth.
"Why? Because you're Taehyung's husband and it's illegal, hmm? That has been the whole fucking story all this while." Instinctively, the Alpha's hold grew stronger if it was possible, but upon hearing he lost everything around.
