Jin's smile couldn't be helped but grow wider upon finding out that Taehyung gave him the keys to the car the Alpha always used himself for personal usage along places he had no awareness of. It seemed so small that he'd be greeted with derision, but in that very moment, it became the Omega's whole world; it became the core of his joy.
Throwing his clutch bag on the passenger seat and making himself comfortable on the driver's, he buckled his seatbelt and the next instant revved the engine, guiding the car out of the large garage among the mindblowing number of cars.
Sometimes, it made him wonder how much Taehyung was actually well-to-do. Conjuring images of his life with his parents, he couldn't recall a time he'd asked something and not gotten it almost the same day. He was brought up in a prosperous family, but his husband's wealth made it nothing.
Taehyung's life had to be a life people in heaven could only describe, but it wasn't. It was one damned wouldn't want to visualize. Their torturous whips and fire were way better!
Jin pitied the people inside the mansion. With all these facilities, they didn't know how to live.
He didn't want himself to be included. He was in hell with his parents enough. He had considered himself a rest in Taehyung's mansion which clearly wasn't going to happen if they were all to continue like that.
Thinking for himself for the maybe first time in his life, he didn't want that, not anymore. Who was he to not deserve the sweetness of life? What sin did he commit?
His only sin was to never realize this vital matter until that instant. It was to not pride himself for who he was.
He was gifted just like all the souls he passed with every smooth turn of his steering-wheel. And while it felt like it took forever to discover this on his own, with his amazing, reliable friends, his effort and the greatness of his result were ten times faster and greater.
A tear escaped his eye. One that he never wiped and never intended to. Not having anyone around, he shared it- his epiphany- with the panoramic view of the river that seemingly had no end.
Letting these thoughts flow spiral inside his head, he drove freely not minding where his heart led him to.
Miracle happens, and it happened for him just there. He didn't know how his way was mingled with Hyun-su's and his mother, or even worse! How this was supposed to be a miracle?
All of this aside, he couldn't say it was accidental. Among all these colorful places his city had to offer, his car emerged in what he could say a poor neighborhood, half a second close to pass these two particular people.
A grin curled his plump lips up for a beyond strange reason. Hyun-su's taste for colors! If only... if only the large backpack wasn't of a pastel color, a baby pale blue, signaling every set of eyes to take a glance, he would definitely lose it.
Pulling over his car in the perfect distance not to be seen (as the four-wheel could easily absorb attention from anywhere, let alone that impoverished place), true to meaning he sharpened his sight to stalk.
It gave him a chill for a moment as the immoral word concerned himself, but he could fling his well-practiced moral out of the window for this one case.
There were thousands of reasons he could count to assure he was doing the right thing. That woman ignited many of other questions inside his already disheveled brain.
He could ignore Hyun-su in most aspects. Yuri was his mother. The possibility of him being partial to his mother even if she was the worst mom on earth could still have a great room to stick with. And Jin was not blind. Even if he wanted, his conscious wouldn't let him know the feeling of being the devil.
