Twenty-six

The sound of curtains being drawn aside and an unbearable brightness following were the reasons as to why Jin groaned in his sleep, curling to show himself small like a baby in hopes of getting a dream more.

As he shifted to escape, the thin cover was pulled away from his body enough rough to make him crack an eye open.

Trying to recognize in blur, he could just see the silhouette of someone going from one side to another at a considerable speed.

A deep voice that surely belonged to that person seemed to be in the background. Still, it held little power. Jin rubbed his eyes to get the sleep out of his head.

"This is how you're going to wake up for work everyday? Oh please, god forbids!"

Slowly, the figure and the tone came out of fog, making Jin curse as he got up from the bed swiftly. That turned out to be not wise of a choice for his head started to spin as soon as his toes touched the floor.

"Hey, you ok? If you're not, I can tell Hoseok..."

"I'm fine. I just didn't get much sleep last night. I could use more rest to be energized." Jin cut off the Alpha a bit harshly. Not that he didn't deserve the treatment! He could insult, and the man's words couldn't be more than of quietness.

"I see." Taehyung let out in a tone only morning atmosphere could permit to be heard as he began adjusting his tie, avoiding the other's heavy gaze upon his spirit.

"Where did you sleep last night? I know you didn't come here."

The Omega couldn't take his eyes off of his husband. The Alpha didn't share much words, but it was enough for him to realize that he didn't know this person. Strangely, this new version could melt heart pretty soon. However, words hadn't been forgotten yet and hell it'd not be before long.

"I slept in Su's room. It's somewhat late. You have time for a quick shower and after that get ready. We're gonna have to order breakfast outside as nothing's been made here." Taehyung said as he bent to take his suit, but the other's fast answer had him still midway.

"I don't need one. I took a shower last night."

Taehyung wasn't surprised over the Omega's words. Jin like anyone could shower anytime, or even never if that was what he saw best for himself! It was the voice and the feeling hidden beneath his words that brought pause to his action. Surely, that simple response alone didn't need that much of an emotional reaction.

"Ok. Then, wear these." he awkwardly spoke and pointed his index finger to a dark grey buisiness suit, light pink shirt, and a white tie. He even had black leather laced-shoes ready for the Omega.

As his mind wasn't still completely awake, Jin went to the pointed direction and took the clothes, not demanding a single question about all he could use to cross-question.

While wearing the clothes, he could hear Taehyung's faint voice informing him the Alpha was going to be over with work soon since it was Sunday, and he was expected to call him whenever he was finished with his. So, Taehyung could send him a car anytime near.

Coming to the room again, only when everything was in its place and he got to study his reflection in the mirror next to his husband, the oddness of the new behavior was distinguished.

"I don't know if you know, Taehyung. But, Hoseok himself doesn't wear suit in his office. Do I really have to make myself a businessman in a place everyone wears casual, even the boss?" Jin inquired as he struggled to straighten up his tie. They were never his cup of tea. Mostly, because he wasn't used to wear them.

The only occasions that gave the chance to him and his family members to see one on him were weddings. If possible, he skipped without thinking once. If not, his father or younger brother would give him a hand.
