"It's good to not see you so down, little bro!" Mi-hi hit her younger brother's shoulder playfully as she ruffled his hair from behind.
The younger had been silent the entire day till that very moment which was near dinner time, staring at the view outside of his window with no identified emotion in his eyes, just emptiness.
"Seriously, Jin! You are just too qiuet. I mean I would get into a fight with father if he did that to me which he wanted it with me at first, but then Kim Taehyung actually turned out to be into guys." Mi-hi spoke again as she crawled to sit next to her brother.
"Hey, Jin? You don't really have any problem with it like you said it to mother that day? I mean not any?!" the Beta whispered and watched carefully how the other took a sharp intake of breath, still too absorbed in nothing.
"It might be better than here, noona!" Jin finally opened his mouth to put his sister in state of shock even more. He then curled his legs into his chest, putting his chin on one of his knees.
"How can it even be better when you don't know the guy?!" the girl squinted her eyes, unable to grasp the said words by her own brother in any possible way or form.
"Maybe I can get a job and do something for myself. Look at Hyun-woo. He's younger than both of us and he's now with father in the company while we two are just captives in the mansion." Jin let out resentfully without averting his gaze from the view. He wasn't certain if he actaully believed in any of the words he just said to his sister. Still, he had nothing else to speak for.
"You know he's an Alpha, Jinnie." the Beta uttered calmly, but she got scared when her younger brother stood up like a furious rumble of storm, finally roaring upon something.
"Well, we are humans, too, Mi-hi!" Jin almost screamed until he got a glimpse of his sister's face. Immediately, the boy softened and crouched down in front of her. He put the delicate girl in his arms.
"I'm sorry. I'm shouting my mind at the wrong person. If anything you're the only person in this house who's being treated just like me, noona." he mumbled as he wrapped his arms around the girl's petite waist, locking his fingers to cage her securely in his embrace.
"I get you, Jin. You're in no perfect condition to act sanely." Mi-hi patted the other's back soothingly and nosed his neck to calm her disheveled self a bit.
If one thing she wanted to possess from an Omega was their sweet relieving scents, but anything else coming from them was just to be one's lifetime curse.
Being bowed in submission for any request wasn't a thing someone could ever want, but when your nature was supposed to be that way, coming out of it wasn't going to be easy.
While being an Omega itself wasn't the greatest thing that could happen to you, being a male Omega had to be the worst. They were the rarest, but not one bit appreciated by their society being gems of great scarcity.
She witnessed the struggles her brother went through entirely due to this stupid nature alone. And she was about to see another one which for sure was to hurt the most.
"If the lovey-dovey thing in here is over, can you guys join us for dinner?!" Hyun-woo, the youngest sibling, broke the two apart with his loud presence in a fleeting moment.
"We'll be there soon, Woo." Mi-hi answered the youngest in an indifferent voice as she adjusted her wrinkled shirt.
"I hope that soon is really soon, noona. And also father wants to see you, Jin hyung... In the library right now." Hyun-woo turned his face to his older brother, informing him in a dead serious tone unlike his previous sarcastic remark towards his sister.
