"Jackson, Jackson babe wake up.." Mark mumbled softly. He wondered how he'd ended up where he'd woke up, lying in Jackson's arms on the hospital bed. He knew how much pain Jackson had been in on the previous night, and the fact that he looked completely content with Mark against his previously bruised chest was slightly confusing to Mark.

Jackson slowly blinked his eyes opened to peek down to Mark. He was sore all over, but somehow having Mark lying against his wounds didn't hurt. It felt nice, just waking up to see Mark lying beside him helped in making him feel better.

A smile grew on Jackson's lips. "Good morning baby," He whispered in a sleepy tone as he looked down to Mark. Mark couldn't help but to smile right back up at his boyfriend.

"Good morning Jackson, now why am I sleeping here, hm?" Mark asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Hmm well I couldn't bear the thought of waking up to see you sitting all the way across the room. It's much too far, and I'd miss you too much," Jackson replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, causing Mark to hide his face in his neck.

"Yah, you're too cheesy. What are the nurses going to think when they see us like this?" He whined into Jackson's neck.

"They'll think that we love each other, as we do," Jackson cooed cheesily, making Mark whine even more.

"Aishhh... Shush," Mark whined as he lightly nuzzled to Jackson. "One of the doctor's came in awhile ago, they said your parents were coming to visit," He whispered quietly into Jackson's neck as he let his eyes shut, relaxing.

"You mean my mother, right?" Jackson asked, lightly playing with his boyfriend's hair, but Mark shook his head.

"The doctors said parents, as in both of them," Mark said as he kept his eyes shut.

"But why would my father come.. He can't come, that'd be ridiculous of him..." Jackson mumbled softly, almost as if he was thinking out loud.

"How would that be ridiculous? A father going to visit his son in the hospital doesn't sound that ridiculous," Mark reasoned with a little shrug.

"N-no it's just my father, he's different.. He doesn't care about when I get hurt or when I fail, that's not how he is.." Jackson said in a dazed tone.

"Your his son, of course he cares about when you get hurt. And with the way you talk about your mother, she sounds lovely, and I'm sure your father is just as nice," Mark reasoned as he peeked up to Jackson, who just shook his head.

"N-no you don't understa-" He began, but was cut off when there was a knock at the door, a knock that was immediately followed by the sound of an opening door.

In the door walked two people. There was a tall man, with broad shoulders and stern eyes. He was followed by a small woman, with long, dark hair, and a gentle face.

"Jackson Wang, what do you think you're doing lying in a hospital bed! And who is this boy?" The man exclaimed loudly, and Mark quickly sat up, and than stood, bowing to the two who had entered.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Mark Tuan imnida, it's nice to meet you two," Mark introduced himself reverently. Jackson looked extremely startled by his father's presence, slowly sitting up.

"What are you doing here?" Jackson asked, looking to his father with cold eyes.

"I should be asking you the same thing! What are you doing in this hospital? What are you doing running around getting hit by cars you pabo! And with this.. boy? Why was he sleeping in your bed? Does this hospital not have enough beds!" Jackson's father exclaimed, completely ignoring Mark's introduction. Mark stood, confused as to why he was ignored.

"This is my boyfriend, Mark," Jackson said as he reached over slightly, taking Mark's hand and pulling him a little closer to the bedside.

"Your boyfriend? Are you crazy Jackson! You come of such a noble family and you go around thinking that little boy's like this care about you? Was he the reason for this? I bet he pushed you to the street!" Jackson's father yelled angrily as his mother attempted to restrain him.

Jackson's mother walked over to Mark, lightly taking his hand in her own, shaking it lightly. "It's lovely to meet you, Mark. Jackson has told me a lot about you, and you make him very happy," She said sincerely with a soft smile. Mark sent her a warm smile, but couldn't help but to still be distraught by Jackson's father's words.

"You knew about this, and you let it happen? This disgusting thing! Our son thinks he is in love with another man, what have I ever done wrongly to you Jackson! I raised you in such a nice place!" Jackson's father said as he stepped towards the bed. "Maybe it is you! You who has crept into my son's head and taught him all these lies!" He yelled in Mark's face, causing him to flinch back. Jackson pushed his father back forcefully, so that he wasn't close to Mark.

"Don't you dare ever speak to him that way! Mark is absolutely amazing and he has done nothing to deserve your hatefulness! He has nothing to do with why I'm here, so don't ever say that! I love Mark, and there's nothing you can do to change that. He didn't tell me any lies, he didn't trick me, I just fell in love with him and he fell in love with me, and I'm not letting that go for you!" Jackson yelled at his father, anger in his usually so happy brown eyes. "Get out! Get out now!" He yelled at his father, only to his father.

"Fine! I'll leave you here to rot in your own stupidity!" His father yelled loudly in reply. "But I'll be back, I'll be back when you realize how stupid you're being, so that I can arrange you to Seulgi, and you can be happy the way you were supposed to be!" His father yelled before storming out.

"I will never be arranged to her.." Jackson mumbled softly before he turned to Mark. "Baby, I'm so so sorry.. You never deserved to have to deal with that.. Don't listen to anything he said okay? He was being ridiculous.." Jackson said in a gentle tone as he pulled Mark to sit beside him, leaving kisses all over his face.

"It's okay Jackson, what he says is not your fault, you don't need to apologize for him," Mark said quietly. "And don't forget, your mother is still here," He continued and Jackson nodded, pulling away from Mark's face as he looked to his mother with a smile.

"Mom, I'm glad you came," He spoke to his mother in Chinese, and she returned his smile.

"Of course I came to see my son," She replied in Chinese as she walked over to a chair at the bedside, sitting. She looked to Mark. "I really apologize for my husband, he is completely ridiculous. As I mentioned before, Jackson's told me all about you, and from what I know you're really lovely. I'm very glad that you're in my son's life," The woman said in Korean to Mark with a sincere smile. Mark smiled back to her.

"Well, it means a lot to me that you'd say that, thank you, really," He replied with a smile as he bowed his head to her. Jackson couldn't help but smile a little. He was glad that at least one of his parents could accept his decisions, and accept that he was happy with Mark.

"There's no need to thank me, son," She replied to Mark in Chinese, thinking that he wouldn't understand. But from the little Chinese that Mark did know, he understood her, and couldn't help but to smile as he leaned against Jackson.

---------

The next few hours were filled with chatter among the three individuals. They discussed Jackson's health, and how all of that was going. All the medications he'd have to take, how much time recovery would take. And after all the serious talk was over, they discussed their relationship. They told his mother all that she'd been curious to know, how they met, how they'd confessed, and really just how much they loved each other.

They shortly discussed Jackson's father, in which Jackson said he would never ever be engaged to Seulgi, and he thought his father was being a lunatic, throwing in how he never wanted anyone to yell at Mark like that.

All in all, the three became close in those few hours following Jackson's parents arrival. And they were all genuinely happy that they could be so close.

Mark finally felt like he had a mother..
