Seconds passed and he could feel her body relax, he stroked the back of her head in reassurance that he was there.

At last Hjejin looked up to him her eyes glistening under the moon light and he couldn't help but capture it from his own lips. Without any resistance she opened her mouth and she was rewarded by Lee Rang's tongue...gentle and soft.

Lee Rang took her wrist and settled them over his shoulders and pulled Hjejin by her waist closing every distance between them.

The need for desire that burnt in them was far from subduing with every kiss and touch it was further ignited.

Both of them wrapped their hands around one another, devouring each other when a voice from behind disturbed their emotional venture. “You know little bit of kissing is good and all but too much kissing can remove your clothes and you two are too young for that.”

Hjejin pushed Lee Rang away in embarrassment and he groaned because of loss of contact of her in his mouth.

Lee Rang looked at his brother and taunted his brother Yeon. “Can't you just leave?”

“Look at you,” Yeon said, “all grown up now. Back then you were just a—”

“Don't you dare say it.” Rang interjected.

“—just a”

“Don't!”

“A BEDWETTER!” Yeon literally screamed.

Hjejin was watching this absurd conversation happen when Nam Ji-Ah ran up to them and asked in between her heavy breaths. “Yeon what about that cherry tree.”

Before he could reply Hjejin who was looking at her said in surprise. “Oh! PDnim?”

Ji–Ah bowed response.

You two know each other? Rang asked pointing his fingers at them.

Both nodded.

“During investigation of cases we always have brief interaction.” Hjejin explained after also bowing to Ji-Ah

Ji–Ah smiled and looked at Yeon. “Their team is a big reason our show is so successful.”

Rang couldn't help but be proud. “Of course my girlfriend is amazing—”

“—I don't know Rang, if my girlfriend Ji-Ah wouldn't broadcast this on TV no one will believe her words.”

Lee Rang scoffed. “What the hell are you trying to say?”

“Oh you know what I mean—”

Ji-Ah ignored them and came forward “I'm so sorry that we have to meet in this difficult time.” She took a deep sigh. “If I lived at the end of all this let's grab a cup of coffee together.”

“I'll look forward to it.”

After a little goodbye bow Ji-Ah took hold of Yeon's ear and pulled him in the opposite direction while giving a nasty snarl at Rang which was quite understandable to Hjejin.

Everything was silent again just two of them standing facing one another.

“Are you going to tell me about how to defeat that weird snakey creature?”

“Snaky, huh? That's one way to put it.”
Lee Rang laughed but his eyes were determined as he chose his next words. “No, I won't be telling you anything about the plan. I'm sorry.”

Rang took deep breath and waited for her response but their was nothing. After a minute or two she finally spoke. “You don't trust me?”

“No! Love” And he watched Hjejin positively melt after hearing that.
