It had been raining consecutively for a few days, and the weather was getting progressively cooler. Jiyeon was easily cold, so she had a habit of remembering to put on a jacket before she left the house.

When Hyunjung saw this, she quickly took out a scarf and gloves, saying she had prepared them beforehand. She was considerate.

She was particularly hardworking when it came to knitting too; as long as she had free time, she would take out her needles and yarn and start working. If she just wore spectacles, she would look just like a granny.

Jiyeon couldn't help but smile, getting up to brew some tea. She placed the cup on the table, then sat down next to Hyunjung and reached out to hug her, planting a big kiss on her lips.

She started thinking about what she should get as a present. After all...... it was almost this person's birthday soon. From the day that Hyunjung had gotten together with her, she hadn't intentionally hidden anything from her. She didn't mind Jiyeon looking through her official Twitter account, her entire house was free for her to roam and even various documentation was left out in the open.

From that moment, Jiyeon had specially taken note of this person's birthday. It was quite auspicious too, the tenth day of the tenth month, the same number twice.

She didn't know how her girlfriend typically spent her birthday. Unlike Hyunjung, Jiyeon wasn't rich. When she was small, she hardly celebrated her birthday because her family conditions didn't allow for it. Typically, she would just have a bowl of longevity noodles paired with an egg. There wouldn't even be someone to sing a birthday song for her.

After she started working and earning money, she finally knew to buy herself a birthday cake. If she didn't befriend Luda, Soobin, and Sojung, she probably would never have known that birthday parties could be so extravagant.

She thought to herself, whatever other people had, her girlfriend had to have too. A little kid who's two and a half years old, she had to spoil her.

So from then on, Jiyeon had been planning how to celebrate Hyunjung's birthday. How big would the cake have to be, what sort of decorations should go on top, how many streamers and balloons should she hang in the house, and what sorts of lights she should buy for different lighting effects?

She even commissioned a huge A Ji a few months ago, which had just arrived a couple of days prior and was now locked in her cupboard.

But all these were secondary.

This time, she wanted to ask Luda and the rest to come over and celebrate. After all, it had been so long ago, but that night was still stuck in her mind. To let her celebrate without worrying, Hyunjung had gone to the office and worked overtime for an entire day. It was too much to ask of her.

Jiyeon didn't want to see that sort of expression cross her face again, so she hoped this birthday party would be an opportunity to introduce her friends to her girlfriend.

She wanted to tell her, look, these are my friends and they're yours too. There's no "yours" or "mine" between us, there's nothing to hide from.

Jiyeon planned everything, and of course, to keep it a surprise, she only told her that she would have friends coming over on Friday night.

She thought Hyunjung would ask why and what they were doing, but she didn't expect this person to immediately say: "Then you guys have fun, I'll just stay in the office and work overtime."
