Chapter 98 [Ch 454-460 in Twt]

Gyugyu's POV

Mingyu entered the elevator, he had just finished
taking his lunch at the hospital's canteen. Honestly, he didn't have an apetite but had to force himself to eat even a spoonful because of his baby.

Another 'ping' notification sound of his phone was
heard by him as he pressed the 17th floor button of the elevator.

"Ano ba naman 'tong si Soons? Ano bang meron?" he thought, annoyed. "Mamaya-maya pa naman 'yung staff meeting kung mga makapamadali naman. Kainis."

It didn't take too long for him to reach 17th floor. He immediately went straight to the staff room because they'll be having a meeting in a while.

The first one he saw were Head Nurse Im, Seungkwan and a few more of his co-nurses. They're waiting for the Pediatric residents and attending before they start the meeting.

"Good afternoon po." Mingyu greeted.

"Good afternoon Nurse Kim!" Head Nurse Im
replied, "Kanina ka pa hinahanap ni Nurse Kwon.
Aligagang-aliga."

Mingyu took an empty seat beside Seungkwan
and saved a spot for Soonyoung by placing a
bottle water on top of the armrest of the chair,
"Kwan, asan si Soons? Pinagmamadali niya akong
umakyat dito tapos wala naman siya."

Seungkwan closed his phone after checking the
time. "Ahhh paulit-ulit nga sa gc natin. May nakita
raw siya pero hindi naman sinasabi. Parang ewan
talaga'yun."

After a while, Soonyoung who's lips were curved
in a smile entered the room excitedly. He rushed towards where Mingyu and Seungkwan were sitting.

He sat down beside Mingyu, "Minnie! Minnie! Alam mo ba sino nakita ko?" he said, heavily panting.

"Huh?" Mingyu raised an eyebrow. "Sino ba kasi
yan?"

"Nakita ko si—"Soonyoung's words were
interrupted when they heard a knock on the door.

One of the nurses, Nurse Bang opened the door.
Mingyu's mouth went ajar when he saw who
knocked on the door.

Soonyoung hit Mingyu's shoulder for a few times.
Gigil na gigil masyado."Ayan! Si crush mo oh!
Akala ko nga namamalikmata lang ako kanina."
he said, giddy.

Wonwoo's eyes roam around the room, and saw a
familiar figure, their eyes met momentarily, but then looked away, his expression turned cold.

Mingyu noticed that the injuries in Wonwoo's face were almost already gone, though there are still a few fading ones. Good thing, the latter was able to recover from his injuries for only a week.

He felt a pang inside his chest due to Wonwoo's passiveness. He slightly shook his head, hurt flashing in his eyes. Ano ba kasing meron? Bakit ganun makaasta si Wonwoo? May nagawa ba siyang mali? Bakit parang hindi siya nakita nito?

Head Nurse Im stood up and walked towards Wonwoo, "Oh! Doc Jeon! Kamusta na? Napadaan ka?"

Wonwoo's cold exterior shifted to a warm one, shocking Mingyu, "Good afternoon Head Nurse Im. Hinahanap ko lang po si Dr. Lee. May iaabot lang sana ako."

"Pormal mo naman masyado. Parang hindi tayo magkaklase sa ilang subjects sa Nursing ha?" Yoona said jokingly.

"Hahahaha sorry." Wonwoo laughed. 

Yoona made him enter the room, "Pasok ka muna Doc Jeon. Sa loob mo na hintayin si Doc Lee."

Wonwoo was reluctant at first but soon followed her. They took sat on the chairs near the door as they continued their conversation.
