"hm hmm, i see..what you're trying to express by these designs but..i may need something more intuitive and upgraded" i huff standing up infront of everyone while we're on a meeting
"this one...see this? if we can make it have more functions such as artificial intelligence and if we can make it less complicated with the design because honestly...it just looks too much and too far up from our brand" i explained presenting my thoughts when my assistant suddenly get my attention as someone was calling on my phone
"excuse me, give me a minute" i smiled at everybody leaving the room seeing it's actually Scarlett
"hello? red? im actually in the middle of somethi---"
"ms y/n?? ms Scarlett is in the hospital!" her assistant approached the call making me widen my eyes in shock
"WHAT?? WHAT HAPPENED?!? Hold on don't end the call, I'm coming there right now. which hospital??? text me the address" i huff running to the elevator and immediately Hoping in my car as soon as I've reached the parking lot
"is she ok??? what's happening right now?!?" i asked driving as fast as i can with a pounding heart
"s-she b-bled earlier a-and s-shes in the e-emergency room right now" she stutter also panicking and i just can't even breathe properly anymore worried about her
I drove to the hospital and immediately saw her personal assistant inside waiting for me anxiously
"WHERE IS SHE!?!" i asked as she's shaking and seems like she's actually not even processing what's happening before she pointed a specific room
i was gonna run my way inside but she grabbed me by my wrist
"the d-doctor said...we should wait here" she stated sniffing
i just sat beside her hopeless still nervous that I can't even type properly to tell my assistant to reschedule the meeting
"what even happened???" i asked calmly to also make her assistant calm down
"we were at one of the store branches that has our product then ms Scarlett says she's dizzy but she don't wanna go... next thing we know she fainted and t-there was b-blood"
just in time the doctor came out making us both stand up quickly
"how is she??" i asked quickly
"can we talk to the husband?" he suddenly says to me making me raise a brow
"I'm the wife" i huff seriously as he cleared his throat awkwardly
"uh, sorry..uhm the patient is stable now and the baby is safe she was just overwhelmed with stress and how hot the weather is."
"thankgod" i sigh in relief
"but"
"of course there's buts" i mumbled
"yes...there is buts, she needs bed rest for atleast 2 weeks and..her pregnancy is really sensitive..so as long as possible she needs to be strong and get rest..you can see her now, she's awake" he added as i nod and immediately went to the room seeing Scarlett looking at me with an unreadable expression
"are you ok?" i asked softly kissing her forehead before sitting next to her holding her hand
"I'm s-sorry"
"didn't i told u to stop abusing your body in work? scar...please" i sigh begging her for the millionth time
"can u not scold me?" she asked pouting
"red i---"
"please?"
"ok..just don't do that again" i scoff kissing her forehead again as she caress my hand reassuring me but i just know she's not gonna listen

2 days after what happened to the hospital, so far scar is actually staying in bed and getting her self better.
"red?"
"hmm?"
"I'm just gonna take rose to school and take cosmo to mom, so i can focus on you"
"ok no prob"
"ok, I'll see you later" i smiled at her giving her a kiss before heading my way out of our room seeing the kids and their nanny are ready
"mama? can you put your signature on my assignment? my teacher says we need parent signature" rose asked approaching me with a notebook and a pen
"sure babe" i responded getting the notebook signing all the pages she needs while we're walking our way to the garage
we all hop in the car and i just drove them to rose's school
"here, uhmm I'll take cosmo to my mom then my assistant will pick u up later" i smiled to the nanny giving her money because rose actually like buying things after school
i immediately comeback home because i actually forgot the contracts that will be signed today at the office
i went inside our bedroom where i exactly know i left it there and guess what, the woman is gone
"fucking hell" i but my lips with a sigh and quickly get out to drove to Scarlett's office knowing exactly she's there.
and there she was, all dressed up talking to some employees. her glare stoped at me looking at her with blank expression
"don't...even try" i spoke as she tries to turn her back on me
"oh heyy my handsome wife" she greeted with a huge smile but i stayed looking at her blankly
"let's go.." i pulled her inside her office room
"scar this is the only thing I'm asking on you, why can't you listen to me even for fucking ones???" i asked trying my best to not look furious even if i really am, not wanting her to be all stressed up
"don't worry, I'm taking care of our baby and---"
"red I'm not trying to take care of u just for the baby. I want you safe..i want my wife safe" i swallowed thickly looking directly at her eyes
"I'm safe" she tapped my cheeks before walking pass thru beside me and sometimes she's really triggering my anger issues
"LOOK I--OH MY GOD! RED!!" i widen my eyes as soon as i turn around seeing her trousers is soaking in blood
"what now???"
"y-youre bleeding" i gasp for air panicking as she trace her hand on it to actually see before loosing her consciousness
right away, i run to her picking her up bridal style running outside putting her in my car before driving as fast as i can my arms covered in blood as i feel tears running down my cheeks
i drove to the closest hospital picking her up again before the employees helped me.
"What happened????" one doctor asked while he's inspecting Scarlett still being rushed to one of the rooms
"s-she b-bled" i stutter shaking nervously
they came inside a room and i was trying to follow them but the doctor stopped me
i stayed at the chairs shaking my thighs not knowing what to do looking at my hands and arm covered in dried blood
after few minutes the doctor came out but by the look of his expression it's not a good news
"There's a lot of complications happening right now and her pregnancy is really sensitive--"
" TELL ME SOMETHING I DON'T FUCKING KNOW....i-im s-sorry" i shouted being overwhelmed
"you need to choose"
"w-hat do you m-mean?"
