I'm just peacefully sleeping on my side of the bed when I suddenly heard quiet sniffs.
i looked to my side seeing y/n facing away but by the look of it she's catching her breath.
knowing her and living with her for years she's having one of those 3am's again.
she grew up in a not so affectionate family and so she really does having a hard time sharing her feelings and i don't wanna add more stress to her.
i fixed my position hugging her from behind and didn't say anything. I'm just letting her know I'm here and I'm not gonna ask anything nor say anything....im just here.
after a while when she finally stopped sniffing i slowly and gently remove my hand just to fix her sleeping position, tucking her properly by the sheets.
i stared at her close but tired looking eyes.. wiping her tears and just caresses her forehead removing the hair on her face.
i couldn't stop my own heart from clenching...she just looks so tired and I'm seeing toddler her everytime she's as fragile as now.
"e-everything is gonna be ok.. you'll be ok" i sign caressing her cheeks before kissing her forehead and lay beside her.
not even a minute she fixed her self hugging me tightly burying her face on my chest
"i love you" i mumbled with a heavy sigh kissing her forehead again before pulling her closer to me as i also close my eyes going back to sleep

y/n pov
i just finished every work i need to finish and all i want right now is the presence of my wife so i decided to go to her office
i stumbled seeing her sleeping on her desk using her arms as a pillow while there's literally product samples and papers every inch of her table
i decided to fix everything, organizing the papers and samples. i want to criticize the samples to make her work faster but i don't know anything about it and i think I'll just ruin it if i did
after fixing everything i removed my suit jacket making her wear it when she suddenly stir awake
"b-bub?"
"hello, my love" i smiled at her
"hi--WHERE ARE THE PAPERS HERE??? OH MY GOD DON'T TELL ME YOU THOUGHT THEY'RE TRASH AND THREW IT--THE SAMPLES!!?? WHERE ARE THE SAMPLES??!?" she asked really tense making me stare at her and have a little smile crawling up my lips
"i organized everything.. didn't threw a single piece of paper nor sample"
"oh.."
"yep"
"hmm why are you here? don't you have work?"
"remember what i told you last night?"
"no" she groan still exhausted
"I'll always make time for you" i pouted receiving her smile
"sorry, i was too fed up"
"it's ok, sooo do you wanna go for an ice cream date right now?" i asked with a huge smile on my lips
"can't..i still have a lot to do that's needed tomorrow" she sigh hiding her face again
"ok...uhm, what about we go home...sleep together and cuddle...then when we wake up I'll help you with everything before the morning even comes while we're having our ice cream?"
"we're not gonna make out?" she asked whispered sarcastically making me chuckle
"we can" i giggled
"ok then, deal" she stood up with a huge smile on her face extending her hand towards me signaling me to stand up and hold it
"you know what? i should start calling you Scarlett horny Johansson y/l/n" i mumbled as we walked out of her office
"that's too long, just call me mommy..or you can moan it" she winked
"yeah... definitely Scarlett horny Johansson y/l/n " i mumbled looking away hearing her chuckle

"damn, nat could detached my head from my neck and I'd just say Thank you" y/n mumbled making me chuckle while we're watching winter soldier
"you basically married nat tho..do you want me to do that?" i asked biting my lips crawling closer to her
as i was just about to kiss her she covered my lips pushing me away before shoving popcorn in her mouth chewing aggressively doing this rosalia thing she found on tiktok...she keeps on doing it 24/7 and it's ANNOYING
"if you won't stop with that judging chewing thing I'll for real will detached your head from your neck" i huff seriously
"THANK YOU " she responded kissing my cheeks making me forget every anger and annoyance i had
"smart way of fixing it" i smirked
"you're so gay" she mumbled
we suddenly heard knocking and we immediately know its rose because of the aggression of the knocking
"come inn"
we were both surprised because she was looking down as she walks towards us seems like she's hiding something from her back
"mommy...mama..please don't get mad" she mumbled
"oh lord, please don't tell me you killed your classmate" i sigh
"please tell me you hid the body properly" y/n suddenly says making me look at her frowning my brows
"WHATT, JUST MAKING SURE" She responded eating more of the popcorn
"uhmm..we just got our grades" rose gave us her report card and honestly me and y/n just looked at each other because there's nothing wrong with it
"hmm..whats wrong? whats bothering you? come here...why are you sad huh?" y/n asked picking her up before rose pull her in a tight hug sniffing on her shoulder
"you wanna talk about it baby?" i asked gently
"i-im sorry i d-disappoint y-you" she sniffs wiping her tears by her sweater
"hey..you didn't disappointed us" y/n pouted fixing her hair
"r-really? b-but my grades a-are not enough" she scoff
"what do you mean?"
"m-mama is d-doing really great in school...s-she have t-those" she stated pointing at y/n's degree certificates
"and m-mommy is s-smart too..i-im sorry that's all i can get" she sobbed hugging y/n again
"hey..look, you did your best and that's enough.. your grades are literally so good and baby, you don't need academic validation..youre already valid to us" she responded cupping rose's face and I'm just staring at them constantly being reminded i married the right person and the right parent
"b-but mama i disappoint you...you have multiple of those and i-i feel like I'm not even gonna get one"
i mean i get rose at this point. y/n does have a lot of degrees that sometimes i don't even know what to call her. like doc? engr? architect? atty??? director?? but mostly and my favorite is baby
"rose.. listen to mama, you will disappoint us. the most important thing to us is you're not forcing or pushing yourself too much...as long as your happy..learning and enjoying, it's already enough for us" i smiled at her before she jumped on me for a hug making me chuckle
"you're enough" y/n mumbled
"as long as you're happy" i added
"as long as my 10 inches" y/n suddenly whispered to me making me widen my eyes and just slap her thigh to make her stop
