Birthday

I woke up in my bed, well, it's more our bed. Red has been living with me for a while now and it's honestly amazing. 

But when I look over to his side, he isn't there. 

"Must've been a special day or something." 

After contemplating leaving the comfy bed I decide it's for the better. 

Funnily enough, even with Red being here, I still haven't changed my morning routine. It's just that perfect. 

After I walk downstairs, I see Red preparing breakfast. 

"Weird, he usually never does that." 

I walk up to him and greet him. 

"Heya Red!" 

He jumps a little. 

"Ahh! Oh, hehe, hey sweetie." 

I smile. 

"You making breakfast? What's the occasion?" 

"Just thought I'd change it up a little." 

He smiles back. 

I nod and walk over to the table and wait for the food. 

He comes over with two plates which presumably have our breakfast. 

He sets down one in front of me and one infront of him. 

While eating our food, Red speaks up. 

"So, I planned a whole day, just the two of us. And I have a surprise at the end." 

I, obviously not expecting this, was confused. 

A whole day. Just me and him. 

"Really?" 

"Of course! I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true." 

"So, what's the plan?"

I hope it isn't very fancy. Red is quite wealthy, but I hope he doesn't make very fancy. 

"I was thinking just walking around the forest and maybe go on the beach while the sun sets." 

That sounds very romantic. 

"When are we doing this?" 

"After dinner most likely. Also because Josh and a couple other hosts want me for something." 

I nod and finish eating. 

Red left to go meet with the other hosts half an hour ago. 

Thankfully, Red said it wouldn't take very long. 

As I'm in thought, Red comes through the door. 

"I'm back! You ready?" 

"Absolutely!" 

Red laughs at my response. 

I get my shoes on and we head out. 

I join hands with Red and he blushes. He looks so cute when he gets flustered. 

We walk around the forest examining different plants and looking at the waterfalls. 

At one point we made flower crowns! I done it quite easily while Red was having a bit of trouble. I helped guide his hand making the crown.

Being in such close proximity to him made me feel amazing. 

But it was also love. 

Yes him and I are boyfriend and (your gender)friend but it felt stronger that.
