The night club pulsed with booming music, casting vibrant neon hues that danced upon every person in the room. Bodies jumped and swayed in perfect harmony with the infectious beat. A strange sensation washed over her, causing her to question if she had unknowingly consumed drugs. Her eyes burned a fiery crimson, and each breath grew heavier, burdened by an unquenchable thirst. Swallowing became a challenge, her parched throat resisting even the simplest act of moistening her mouth. Desperately, she clutched at her throat, scanning the crowded dance floor for relief. The suffocating atmosphere overwhelmed her, leaving her feeling nauseous and unsteady.

With a slow, deliberate pace, she navigated her way to the bar, seeking solace in a glass of water. Pressing her lips against the cool surface, she downed the entire glass in one desperate gulp, feeling the liquid cascade down her throat.

"You seem a bit peculiar," a tall young man in his late twenties remarked as he approached her. His eyes were filled with an intense curiosity. She adjusted her gaze to meet his figure beside her.

"Pardon me?" she responded, her face displaying confusion. She struggled to maintain her balance. Suddenly, she noticed a slight upward curve at the corners of his mouth.

"Are you feeling unwell, perhaps?" he inquired, his presence becoming more dominant. She observed his demeanor towards her and offered a faint smile, suspecting that he might be interested in her.

"No, I'm fine," she assured him. "Just a little lightheaded, but I'm alright."

"Why?" she asked, her smile softening. He looked at her intently, his gaze unwavering, and slowly reached out to brush aside a loose strand of hair that obscured part of her face. He studied her eyes intently.

"You're not being truthful with me," he stated.

"Tell me the truth... are you feeling sick?" he asked again, his eyes undergoing a sudden transformation. She stared at them in confusion, unsure if what she was witnessing was real. His pupils morphed into slits.

"Your eyes!" she whispered, her eyes widening. He immediately averted his gaze and closed his eyes. When he opened them again, his slit eyes had vanished.

"Who are you?" he questioned, his face filled with bewilderment as he observed her. She snapped back to reality, fear creeping into her expression.

"I don't think I want to answer that question," she replied, taking a step back. He swiftly grabbed her arm, preventing her from escaping.

"I demand an answer!" he exclaimed.

"Who the hell are you?" he demanded once more, his eyes piercing. Panic surged through her, and she glanced at her tightly gripped arm.

"What are you doing?" she cried out.

"Let go of me!" she shouted, attempting to free her arm from his grasp. He forcefully pulled her across the bar and into a secluded room.

"Who the hell are you? Who sent you here?" he bellowed.

"What's the matter with you?"

"I honestly have no clue what you're referring to," she replied, her voice trembling with fear. She had come to this place with her friends, seeking a good time. But now, she found herself pinned against the wall, her eyes shut tightly in pain.

"I don't believe a word of it!" he shouted back, his voice filled with suspicion. "If you don't tell me right now who sent you here to harm me, I swear I'll end you right here, right now!" His words echoed through the room, causing her eyes to well up with tears. Fear contorted her face as the tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Please!" she pleaded, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I have no idea what you're talking about!" she cried out, desperation lacing her words. "I came here with my friends from another town. I just wanted to have some fun. I'm just a girl from Gale Town, trying to escape the monotony of home for a little while."

"Ohh please don't kill me..I'm telling you the truth!!" she cried out in distress. With disbelief etched on his face, he stared at her, attempting to convey his readiness to eliminate her. Yet, there was something peculiar about her. She wasn't like the others; she could see his eyes. How could she not be aware of their existence? Utter confusion consumed him as he stood before this enigmatic girl. Suddenly, the door swung open, revealing none other than his brother.

"What on earth are you doing, Taehyung?" his brother questioned, witnessing his younger sibling forcefully imposing himself on the girl. Taehyung immediately released her hands and retreated.

"Min ho...this girl is one of them!" Taehyung exclaimed, making his way towards his older brother. Min ho glanced at the terrified girl and then shifted his gaze back to his brother.

"Let her go!" Min ho exclaimed loudly. Taehyung's eyes widened in astonishment at his brother's unexpected words.

"Are you out of your mind?"

"If our father discovers that we have set one of them free, he will be furious!" Taehyung retorted, raising his voice. Frustration washed over Min ho as he grabbed Taehyung by the arm.

"Listen to me...I want you to leave this girl alone and return to your place!" Min ho commanded, forcefully pushing Taehyung away. Taehyung's breathing grew heavier with anger.

"You're always like this!"

"You never listen to me!" Taehyung screamed, storming off in a fit of rage. Min ho sighed once more.

"I apologize if my little brother frightened you."

"I assure you, he won't do that again...you may leave," Min ho assured the girl. Slowly but surely, she made her way towards the door, passing by the man.

"Thank you," she whispered, her eyes filled with tears, before sprinting out of the room. Min ho watched her disappear into the crowded dance floor, likely in search of her friends. He squinted at her from a distance.

"She's different, and she clearly belongs with us," Min ho murmured, slowly making his way back to his original position.
