Throughout the night, Taehyung mulled over the words his son had shared with him that day. By morning, he had reached a firm belief that his son possessed a unique ability to illuminate the path for those around him.
The weight of this constant burden had worn Taehyung down, consuming every moment of his existence. He yearned to reach out to Jisoo, to have a conversation and offer her the support she needed to overcome her depression.
At eleven in the evening, Taehyung made his way to each of the children's rooms, finding them all present except for Jihoon.
"Does he have a secret mission that I'm unaware of?" Taehyung wondered to himself as he closed the door to Jihoon's empty room. Thoughts of Jihoon lingered in his mind as he made his way to Jisoo's room, puzzled by how his body seemed to instinctively lead him there, despite his conscious thoughts.
"Hmm... I need to get this off my chest," Taehyung muttered to himself as he turned the doorknob slowly. Stepping into Jisoo's room, he was struck by the absence of her presence, a heavy feeling washing over him.
"Jisoo?"
"Jisoo...." Taehyung called out as he entered the bathroom, but there was no response.
"No!"
"No.... where are you?!" He exclaimed in despair, rushing outside to search for her.
While Taehyung frantically searched for his wife, Jihoon waited in Hara's room, eager for an answer to his question. Hara blinked nervously, quickly meeting his gaze.

"Will you truly help me out if I tell you the truth?"
"How can I trust you?" "Hara questioned. Jihoon extended his hand towards her cheek, hesitating when he was just inches away from touching her.
"You can't... because we're natural enemies, right?" He asked with steady eyes. Neither of them looked away. Hara slowly lowered her eyes to his lips and a sudden fluttering sensation invaded her senses. She quickly became dizzy, unable to process what was happening to her.
"However, what if I were to reveal to you that my mind might be swayed if you can demonstrate true loyalty?" she stated, her gaze locking onto his eyes once more. Jihoon found himself inexplicably short of breath as a sudden warmth spread through his body.
"In what way can I prove my loyalty to you?" he inquired, his curiosity piqued. Hara maintained her intense gaze, her eyes wider than usual, as she contemplated his question.
"Tell your people that I was never here! Deceive your father into thinking you never captured me!" she urged him. Jihoon's heart sank as he grasped the weight of her request - he would have to betray his loyalty to his father in order to gain hers. With a heavy heart, he took a step back and turned away, unable to meet her gaze.
"What am I getting myself into?"
"This is all kinds of wrong!" he silently wondered, running a hand through his hair in frustration. Hara observed his unease in response to her plea.
