Chapter 23

The following day, I went to the spa and treated myself to a spa day because I wasn't going to argue with Roman back and forth.

"Omg Aj, it is me Jess..what are you doing here?" She looked at me but I looked back at her and I don't remember Jess.

"I don't remember a Jess? Who are you?" I asked and She sat next to me. "Your ex girlfriend Jess"

"Well whoever you are, I don't remember you so can you leave me alone so I can leave please?" I got up and went to the back and changed then left.

I grabbed some coffee on the way back home and Roman was gone and I went back home.

I sat down on the couch and had my coffee on the TV watching some series and Roman just came back.

"Hey Aj, there is some girl outside name Jess looking for you and she said she is your ex girlfriend"

"Omg this bitch followed me home" I grabbed my bat and went to the front door. "What the hell are you doing here" I yelled at her.

She gasped and mumbled underneath her breath and I couldn't hear her.

"What are you doing here?" I insisted on hearing her out before I hit her.

"I miss you, I miss us... I miss everything we did in high school" She cried out and grabbed my legs.

"We only dated for 2 months because you were sleeping with Science teacher to get a better grade, If you studied instead you would've passed, now I'm moved on and you should too, can you leave before I call the police"

She got up and left my house, I dropped the bat beside the door and sat back down on the couch.

"How'd this start?" He asked "It started back at the spa I went to earlier and she came up to me saying omg Aj, it is me Jess, your ex girlfriend and I was confused and told her to leave me alone and then I left and apparently she followed me home."

"Anyways I'm going to lay on your belly and if you objection, I don't care" He laid his head on my belly and I played with his hair.

"Uh huh because last time you said that, you went for something else" I complained and he shook his head and continued laying on my belly.

"Shush, I'm trying to sleep babe" He closed his eyes again and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Alright" I said as I turned the tv off and went on my phone, I was minding my business for a few hours until he woke back up.

Few hours later, We both woke up and he started tickling my ribs and I started giggling.

"Baby stop tickling me, that's my tickle spot" I wrapped my arms around his neck."

"Nope I'm not gonna stop baby" I kept laughing as he pulled me on his lap as he kept tickling me and kissed me.

"Baby I hate you" I rest my head on his shoulder and he kissed my cheek "I love you too" He laughed and cuddled into my chest.

"Me hungry, can we go get something to eat?" I said as I rubbed my tummy and got up. "What do you want to eat?"

"You pick, I picked last time" I went upstairs to shower "Alright don't throw a fit when it ain't something you want" He laughed and grabbed the keys and left the house.

I was on the phone with my business friend when he came back so I didn't hear him walk in through the front door.

He came over and pulled me on his lap and realized I was on the phone so he can start kissing my neck? Baby really?

"Yeah I can make sure that they can get that d-delivered to you"

He kept kissing my neck and my friend hung up after I said bye and he just laughed.

"That's not funny, I was on the phone"

"Aww baby you look so adorable today, plus I always wanted to do that"

"Hmph" I crossed my arms and leaned my head on his shoulder.

I got up and went into the kitchen, he just laid down on the couch with his phone and I was grabbing my food that he went to go get.

"Can you put mine in the fridge for me?" He asked and I rolled my eyes and still put it in the fridge and went into the movie room and closed the door behind me.

"Baby what I do? Why you upset?" He walked down the steps to the movie room and sat beside me.

"I'm not upset" I just lied between my teeth, he looked at me with his pouty face "Why you lying?"

I got up to throw away the trash from my food and sat back down. He pulled me on his chest and looked at me.

"Are you upset with me and why?" He sat up with me with on his chest and lifted my face.

"I'm not upset with you, it's just my past keeps haunting me whenever I go, when you told me I was forever yours and did you mean it, that's when my past starting haunting me, then Jess came and now my brain is just...."

He kissed me and I pulled away for a bit but went back to kissing him.

"Do you want to get through this?" He asked me in between the kisses and played with my hair, I shook my head and wrapped my arms around his neck.

He grabbed one of my hands from around his neck and combined with his, I leaned my head on his shoulder and he held on to me like a little baby and we finished watching the movie I was watching before he walked asking why I was upset with him, when I really wasn't upset with him, it was my past I was upset about.
