Christie's POV

"I'm Christine Lilianne Jones. Everyone calls me Christie" I said.

"It's a good thing mom told me my full name" I thought.

"I'll call you Lily" Mira said.

"Can we go in now?" Dave asked.

"Yes Dave, lets go in" I said.

Mum, dad and a lady carried all the bags to my room while we three followed.

"Wow" I exclaimed. 'This is awesome" I said entering my room.

Everything in it was yellow. I turned back only to discover I was alone. I checked everything. Being here felt so familiar. 'Its my room after all' I thought.

I laid on the bed. It was satisfactorily soft. I got comfortable and closed my eyes.

There was a light tap on my arm. I opened my eyes and saw Dave staring at me.

"You slept for a very long time. Mum said not to disturb you because you're recovering." he said.

I sat up. "What of Mira?" I asked.

He arched his brow in confusion for some seconds before realising who I was asking about.

"She went home already." he replied.

"Is she always like that?" I asked. He smiled.

"Yes, most of the time she's like that. But you wont like her when she's upset" he replied.

"Lets go downstairs. Its almost time for dinner" Dave said.

We went downstairs and straight to the dining. Mum and the lady I met earlier were setting the table for dinner.

"Thank God you're awake. I was starting to think something was wrong" mum said and I smiled.

Dave rolled his eyes and sat down.

"Where is dad?" I asked sitting down beside Dave.

"Right behind you" dad replied. Dave and I turned.

He walked towards the table and sat. Mum blessed the food and we all ate quietly.

Kara's POV

The Smith's lawyer said he was going to take care of all the Smiths workers.

The Smiths were buried silently. They were going to keep the news of their death a secret for as long as possible.

He offered us money for the care of Christie but we rejected the offer. We wanted to raise her like our own.

Henry and I planned to tell Christie about her real identity when she clocks sixteen and that is if she doesn't recover her memories before then.

I'm happy Christie and David are getting along well. He's too protective of her and Henry says its a good thing. This is the family I've always wanted.
