"Can't sleep?"

Taking a bottle of chocolate milk out of the fridge I turn around and I'm met with Reese. Shrugging my shoulders in response I walk to the breakfast bar counter sitting at one of the highchairs.

I haven't had a panic attack in years. Although back when I used to have them more frequently, I would be able to recover rather quickly. But since it's been so long, I pretty much slept all day, trying to get my body to recovery from the restless state it was in.

Honestly it was so embarrassing to have a panic attack in front of them. I couldn't help it though. I barely think about Jace, and I haven't seen his face in years it was a shock to see him.

In the moment looking at the picture I wasn't me. I was that little girl, looking into his face as he was about to put his hands on me again.

Thankfully I was about to come out of my attack, without passing out was a a shock. Finding out that a crazy psycho mafia boss was behind our kidnapping was a double shock.

Thankfully during and after my attack my family were all so helpful. They knew exactly what to do to keep me calm. None of the looked at me with looks of pity, or disappointment like I thought they would, just love and protectiveness iced with concern.

Not wanting to leave my room, they came to me opting to bring a few air mattress and spent the whole day with me. Coming out of sleep every few hours I of course always insisted they leave me. Especially when they were just watching me sleep and you know we do have a psycho aunt on the loose.

But they had a high school musical marathon in my room. Making sure I was taken care of with all my favorite foods, and making sure I was comfortable during my slumber.

Ezekiel even painted my toenails when I was awake for my longest period... Ezekiel.

He rushed to my side during the start of my episode. After asking if it was ok he carried me up to my room since I was to exhausted to move. Throughout the day he was extra caring making sure my snacks were always full and fluffing my pillows... maybe he doesn't hate me?

Who knows boys suck.

Today started how terrible finding out that my abuser was a psycho mistogic power hungry mafia men. But thanks to my family I was pampered and nursed back to being my normal self.

Maybe this family thing isn't so bad?

"You still like vanilla Oreos?" Nodding my head with a smile, she put a packet of Oreos in front of me, and a glass of her own chocolate milk.

Some people hate silence, and they feel like they have to fill it, and yes at times silences can be awkward. But the silence between Reese and I is anything but that, it's nice, and comforting.

"You're having snack time without ME." Ace gasped while walking over to us with a gigantic pout. "Your father is a 5-year-old I swear." Rolling her eyes, she slid off her chair grabbing an Oreo.
