She ran her hand through his tangled hair. It was obvious that the man had been restless for a few days now and she was getting quite worried. So, she repeated the words she had said to him countless times. Repetitive but always sincere.
"Papa, it's okay. I'm here. Always." She repeated. She noticed how his hold on her tightened. As if he let go for more than a second she would vanish. She didn't know what was the cause of his distress; was it perhaps an enemy he fought that he couldn't beat?
'No, that would only make him more excited... I wonder what happened.'
She was almost on the mark. Almost right with her theory but little did she know it was her who was causing Hisoka distress.
Hisoka finally let go after a few minutes of silence. The corner of his eyes were obviously red and a dust of red also sprinkled on his nose. Y/N couldn't help but poke his red, protruding nose.
"Papa looks like Santa-san's reindeer." She giggles in her sweet voice and Hisoka couldn't help but smile at the small tiny existence.
"Ara, you're bullying Papa now, naughty baby~." She squirmed in his arms so he had no choice but to let her down. But once her feet landed on the ground she immediately sprinted away from Hisoka.
"Don't chase me Papa, the examinees are here! They'll know you're a softie!" She stuck her tongue out to him and he couldn't help but smile softly at her. "Okay doll I got it, go and leave papa alone." He fakes a tear and ushers her away.
Y/N only smiles back and runs towards the clearing. She sees familiar faces and immediately notices spiky green hair and tousled white hair. It was the two boys she had met in the earlier exams. She hadn't gotten a chance to mingle and with a spirit of childishness to her, she approached the kids.
"Konnichiwa!" She greeted with a smile to her face. She was quite similar to Hisoka, she also gets recharged once she spends time with her Papa. But she wasn't as obvious as the jester.
The two kids look at her, remembering her as 'Hisoka's daughter'. They looked at her with suspicious looks and the green-haired boy looked rather pained when he looked at her. She didn't know about Gon's previous encounter with her Papa so she was quite baffled why she received such welcome.
