Before Mary walked off the stage after her song, Alli, Ms. Davis, and Leah walked back on. Ms. Davis took the mic from the stand, while Alli and Leah were handed mics from someone backstage. Ms. Davis smiled as she spoke to everyone. "We have a special treat for you all during this break. Instead of the current choir class doing a number, these three ladies agreed to sing something themselves, as a triplet. Each of these girls gained something recently, which they never intend to let go. Written by each of them, here's 'The Great Divide'!" Everyone stared at each other as the music started and the girls took their place onstage. Alli stepped up first, and a picture of her with Sean and me appeared on the projector above her.

The picture disappeared as Alli stepped back, and the three sang together.

Leah stepped up, and a picture of herself with a boy appeared over her.

She stepped back as the picture disappeared.

As Mary stepped up, a picture of her holding a baby appeared. I practically heard the whole audience sigh.
