It was silence in the house when Mingi arrived. 10pm passed and no one wanted to even greet him. It was pure silence in the house

"Uncle Mingi?"Minhyun came in his room, rubbing sleepiness from his eyes "You're back"

"I'm back"he smiled "Why aren't you sleeping?"

"I couldn't. Did aunt Byeol and Yeon return too?"

Mingi shook his head "No, unfortunately. But she promised to be back. And she told me to watch on you"

Minhyun looked away "But she's not here.."

"She will be here, she promised"

"She won't"Hongjoong said from top of the stairs "She's not returning here anymore"

"Minhyun go to sleep. I have to talk to your dad"he pressed kiss to boy's head and turned to Hongjoong "What do you want?"

Hongjoong scoffed "What do you think you're doing?"

Mingi arched his eyebrow "What exactly are you implying to?"

"Don't act dumb. Dohyun told me-" "Ahh..Alright. And?"he set his clothes in closet, throwing jacket on chair

"Are you siding with her?"

He looked at Hongjoong "If you came to argue, we can do that in the morning. I'm too tired-"

"It cannot. You allowed her-"

"I allowed her?!"Mingi nearly yelled "I allowed her?! Did you even hear half of the story that happened?! Or not..you only heard what Dohyun told you. Yes, you did, you only heard what he told you"

"Song Mingi!"Hongjoong gritted his teeth "Shut it or else-"

"Or else what?! You'll threaten to kick me out like you did to Yunho?!"he got in Hongjoong's face

He stood there, shocked by Mingi's words

"What did you just say?"

"You think I wouldn't know?"he chuckled "C'mon, Yunho is my best friend"

"I don't think he is after this" "What do you want to say with that?"

Hongjoong smiled and shook his head "Just like I said. I don't think anyone's going to want to be your friend after this. You being with.."

"You don't know what happened. So shut your mouth"he glared at Hongjoong

"You can't and won't tell me to shut up. Tomorrow is a meeting with a Boss and I-"

"Will see. Now let me rest and please leave the room"

"I won't until you tell me what the-" "Fine then. I'm staying in hotel"he picked up his jacket and left

But he didn't went in hotel. He slept in car on parking lot in front of hospital until morning

"Is he awake?"

Gayoon nodded "You can talk to doctor after if you want. He's just in visiting him"

Mingi nodded and took deep breath

"His state is stable"doctor smiled "I wasn't surprised to hear when he woke up, although with complications he had when he was brought in, I thought there was no hope for him. But Mingi, here's the sad thing.."

He took off his glasses "Because of the trauma this car accident caused him, he might go mute, not speak, have difficulties with speech or stutter. Doesn't have to be, but it might happen. He can also have constant memory losses. You tell him something and he forgets it after two hours. Do others know he's awake?"
