Friday September 30th, 2022

"You seem to be in a great mood," Hoseok jokes as I walk into the rehearsal room. We had practice this morning for our TMA performance and our upcoming concert in Busan.

Meeting Cova last night changed everything. I was dead set on not finding another sub, but I was forced into checking out that app by a certain band mate. And now I'm positive it's got to be her.

"I'm just tired," I groaned as I pushed his shoulder and sat on the floor to stretch.

"You had your first date with Covet last night, didn't you? How did that go? Do we get to meet her anytime soon?" Jungkook chimed in as he sat next to me on the floor and started to stretch his legs.

"Her name is Cova," I corrected, "and it went well. Or so I thought. So you may have to wait a while on meeting her."

"You thought?" Namjoon asked as he arched his back on the floor.

"She had to bolt as soon as we got to her apartment because one of the members of Ateez ran up and pulled her to her car."All of my group mates' eyes shot open, and I realized I didn't fill them in on that part, "I forgot to mention, she's one of Ateez's main managers."

"Jeez, now you'll be sharing her with more than just the eight of us," Jimin joked as he put on his practice shoes with a wide smirk on his face.

"She was supposed to text me last night when she got home," I shrugged, ignoring Jimin's sharing comment, "but she never did. I know work is work. I'm just worried I came on too strong last night."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow and looked at Jin Hyung, who shared a knowing look, "came on too strong, huh? What did you do?" Jin asked curiously.

"I kissed her in the back of the car."

Hobi's mouth dropped open, and Jungkook's doe eyes widened tenfold, "you kissed her?! That soon?! You never make a move on the first date!" Hobi gasped.

"Yeah! We call you a turtle for a reason!" Jungkook joked as Hobi smirked.

"Yeah, he's got all those steps to how he goes forward with his 'dates,'" Namjoon joined in as Seokjin stifled a giggle from next to him.

"We meet together a few times first," Jimin starts.

"But no sex; I want you comfortable with me before we do anything like that," Taehyung continued, holding his hands together and batting his eyelashes.

"Then if we choose to continue, you'll meet the rest of my group," Jin finished.

I waved them off, "it was a simple goodbye kiss."

"Like hell it was! A goodbye kiss wouldn't scare her off!" Before I could respond to Hobi's comment, my phone pinged.

Everyone in the room stared over at my bag, and Jimin hopped up and grabbed my phone. His face instantly turned into a wide smirk as he stared at my screen, and he turned it around and shook it slightly.

"Guess who messaged you," he sang as he walked forward and handed me my phone. But before I could take it, Jungkook and Hobi snatched it from his hand.

"I am so sorry for not messaging last night...I didn't get home until a little after 2 am and fell asleep before my head could even touch the pillow. I hope you're having a good day; thank you again for last night." Jungkook read, Hobi's face lighting up and giggling as he read it word for word in a feminine voice. I snatched my phone back and read it for myself. 2 am? She had to be at work early this morning, and I guess she's just like me and used to running off no energy.
