The high-pitched ring of the phone awoke the cuddling couple who were in a deep sleep considering it was still somewhere at 2 AM.

"Hello?"

"Yes. Jeon Jungkook speaking. What's the matter?"

Jungkook looked at Taehyung's curious sleepy eyes which were fixed on him in hopes of knowing what was wrong since there couldn't be anything that couldn't wait for another few hours considering it'll be morning unless this phone call was something really really really important. The sudden irregular beat of the heart didn't make anything easier.

'What is it?' Taehyung mouthed, his own eyes going a little wide as he hoisted himself up more to be more awake when he saw Jungkook's eyes going wide and mouth parting.

"Ok. I'll be there as soon as p-possible." And with that Jungkook hung up.

"What is it? What's wrong? Where are you go-" Taehyung was cut off abruptly as Jungkook clung to him suddenly with his head hidden in Taehyung's shoulder. Without wasting another second Taehyung quickly wrapped his own hands around Jungkook's suddenly cold but sweaty frame.

"H-He is g-gone. My d-dad." Jungkook said without lifting his head from Taehyung's shoulder as he whispered those lines in his trembling voice.

"Oh." Taehyung didn't know what to be said as he hugged Jungkook tighter.

Taehyung knew that the bond Jungkook and his dad had was strong since Jungkook's mom left the world when Jungkook was only one-year-old. Jungkook only had him, and now he is gone and the worst part is that the death is too sudden and shocking that nobody thought something like this would happen. The last time Jungkook spoke with his dad, he had an argument with the old man, and that is what broke Jungkook more.

"Dad, I'm telling you for the last time, you CAN'T travel in this condition! I'm not allowing you nor do doctors think it's okay to travel!"

"But they said there is only a little bit of risk, Kook. Please, let me go see my wife's grave for the last time."

"I said no, didn't I?"

"But-"

"Let's end this conversation here dad..."

"I- I was rude to him. I- I didn't know, I thought I'll be a-able to t-take him t-there m-myself w-when he gets a l-l-little better b-but... Taehyung-ah... He l-left me, like this!!"

"It's okay, you only meant good. You didn't know Koo. Calm down now, yeah?" Taehyung pushed Jungkook back a little by his shoulders and wiped his tears. "Come on, wipe your tears, hm? Let's go change. I'll drive."

And that's how they found themselves in front of two graves;

Mrs. & Mrs. Jeon.

Jungkook leaned his head on Taehyunng's shoulder after placing a white flower bouquet in front of two graves, standing hand-in-hand.

"They must be so proud of you." Taehyung whispered. But got no reply in return which made him lift his head up and look at Jungkook's glossy eyes.

"You know they are happy right? Your dad finally met his lover, you know?" Taehyung attempted to console Jungkook.

"Must be. You better be happy with mom, old man." Jungkook sniffled with a small chuckle.

"Aww come here, you big baby." Taehyung didn't waste another second offering Jungkook his shoulder after seeing tears pouring down his eyes.

"Thank you Tae, for always being there for me."

"As if you wouldn't do the same."
