A few hours later,

Abhimanyu was standing outside his hotel suite, knocking on the door. "Arohi, open the door."

People were giving him strange looks but he chose to ignore them for the time being and focus on the most important task at this moment. It was to convince the angry bird inside to open the door to let him get access to the suite.

"Abhimanyu Singhania! Don't let me see your face!" Arohi threatened him. She punched the fluffy pillow and cried. "You forced me to marry you! You asked my dad for my hand in marriage. You are now taking me to Delhi. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you so much."

"I didn't force you, "Abhimanyu sighed as he sat outside the door, his back leaning against it. Technically, he didn't force her to marry him. She had a choice but she chose to not act on it and agree with her father's wishes.

A few hours ago, she was sitting on the mandap thinking that she was going to be Ayushman's wife but now it appeared as if life had pulled the rug right under her feet. All her dreams and hopes were shattered in mere hours. She felt as if she was the most pitiful and silly woman in the entire world.

She didn't even know what she wanted and what she hated. But she knew that she didn't hate Abhimanyu. Even if she tried to hate him, she couldn't. It was just impossible for her to hate him. It was as if her system would malfunction if she even dared to think that she hated Abhimanyu.

"Who asked you to give that emotional speech to my papa?" Arohi questioned him with a heavy heart. "He will be more sad when you break my heart."

"Why would I break your heart?" Abhimanyu asked her instead. Even he wanted to know what she thought about him now.

"Because you are a heartbreaker, "Arohi said in anger.

"I thought I'm a heartthrob, "Abhimanyu chuckled, trying to lighten up the heavy atmosphere. "Open the door. The floor is cold. My fever will come back. Do you want Miss Bella to take care of me all night?"

"Even my dog likes you, "Arohi cried even more. Her life was seriously a mess. "This is not fair. You have no right to come into my life and ruin everything."

She looked at the honeymoon suite that Abhimanyu's parents had booked for them in Shimla. They said it would be better if they spend a few days here and get to know each other. Who wanted to know this jerk anyway? She didn't say anything. Because this Jerk was her husband now. She was wearing his ring, his mangalsutra and his sindoor now. The damage had already been done and what was there to undo it?

"I brought food, "Abhimanyu said this time. "Eat something. You need the energy to be angry at me for three days."

"I hate you, "Arohi sobbed.

"I hate me too, "Abhimanyu whispered. "Open the door, Arohi. Eat something. Your dad will be worried. He asked me a few times already if you ate something. You know I suck at lying."

Arohi stood up and opened the door. She saw him sitting on the floor and a food trolley placed near him. She didn't say anything as he served her food and she quietly ate it. She had no intention of talking to him again but she did not want to worry her father. Abhimanyu was not a good liar. Her father would find out that he was lying.

"Don't worry. I'm eating with you too, "Abhimanyu said as he took a seat next to her.

"I didn't ask, "Arohi grumbled while chewing. Couldn't he see that she had no interest in getting to know him?

"I'm just telling you, "Abhimanyu said with a cheeky smile. He scooped some palak paneer on his plate and she burned in rage. How dare he eat palak paneer after ruining her peace? In a fit of anger, she stabbed her fork into all the pieces of palak on his plate and ate them, leaving only palak for him.

Abhimanyu didn't know if someone could look this adorable while being mean.

When they were done with dinner, he asked her if she needed any help with removing her Jewelry. Although she was prideful, she knew that she could remove all the pins from her head and outfit. She sat on the edge of the bed and he removed all the pieces of jewellery. She would just give him a tiny chance to redeem himself.

"God, what was the need to put so many pins in your hair?" Abhimanyu couldn't help but ask. He had removed at least twenty of them. And it seemed there were still more. "Were they planning to poke your head?"

"Ask my makeup artist, "Arohi muttered. She stood up and asked him to remove all the safety pins that they used to hold her lehenga. Her lehenga was very uncomfortable to sit with. It was pricking her skin.

"How are you walking in this heavy thing?" Abhimanyu asked in horror. He removed all the safety pins and she came out of the heavy lehenga.

"Have some shame, "Abhimanyu said and turned around.

Arohi tsked. She was wearing warm pants underneath the lehenga. It was so freaking cold because of the rain. She would have died of cold if she was not wearing anything underneath the lehenga. And what made him think that she was going to prance herself naked in front of him?

"Place all these things somewhere, "Arohi said before going to the washroom. She took a soft woolen top from her bag and disappeared to the washroom.

When she returned, the room was cleaned. Not even a single rose or candle was in view. She was satisfied with the results but she was a little pissed as well. What was wrong with her?

"What are you doing?" Arohi asked as she saw him putting a pillow and blanket on the sofa.

"I'm tired. I want to sleep, "He replied with a smile. His six feet over body lay on the sofa that was small for his body, bad for his posture and he covered his head with the blanket. "Good night, Aru. Sleep tight."
