Chapter 26

Viola's POV
"Hey, can I come in?" I asked from outside Renata's room since the door was already open.
"Would you go if I said no?" She asked sulking and playing around with a Rubik's cube.
"No" I said and walked in and plopped myself on her bed

"You can sit" she said with sarcasm and I rolled my eyes
"What are you doing?"
"What do you mean 'what are you doing', are you blind"

I took in a deep breath trying to not loose my cool
"Vincent is out there somewhere and you need to find him" I said glaring at her while she looked down pretending she didn't know.

"I don't need to find him. I'm done, I've given up" she said with a sigh as she threw the rubix cube letting it bounce on the bed
"You can't give up, I'm not going to let you" I said
"You look terrible. Your hair is like a birds nest and when was the last time you took a bath? I know Vincent means a lot to you and you feel like you just ruined everything, which you did by the way"

"And trust me I take full blame for the dare but you're a mess and I'm sure Vincent is too" I continued
"But where do you expect me to find him, I've checked virtually everywhere" she said

"Maybe you just aren't checking the right places" I said and pulled out my phone showing her a picture of Vincent at the front of a house with a much bulkier guy.

"H-how did you get this?" She asked grabbing my phone.
"It doesn't matter just go get dressed and I'll text you the address" I said snatching my phone back and walking out.

Renata's POV
I quickly got dressed and grabbed my car keys
"Don't forget to take flowers!" I heard Viola scream from inside the house and I bit back a remark considering the flowers idea.
I started the car and pulled out my phone and sure enough there was an address.

I ended up stopping on the way to get chocolates not flowers.
I knocked on the door since they didn't have a doorbell.
A couple of knocks later and the door opens to Vincent. He's standing there shirtless and I'm staring.

"Eyes are up here"he said
I shut my eyes tightly and opened them again while trying to stare at just his face.
"Are you going to say something?" He asked
"Ummm yeah. Vincent I'm sorry about everything, I lied to you and that was wrong but everything I told you, every moment we spent together, every memory we shared that-that was true and If I could go back in time I wouldn't change anything because that dare meant me talking to you and getting to know you, I wouldn't change it for the world" I said

"So Vincent I'm sorry for breaking your heart and I didn't mean to do that but I'm not sorry for getting to know you" I said and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding

And he pulled me in for a hug
"I forgive you" he said and I hugged him trying not to crush the box of chocolates

"How did you find me?" Vincent asked as we sat on the couch talking. And yes he was wearing a shirt now
"It was all Viola. She's also really sorry and Victor too" I said
"I know" he said grabbing my hand
"I know you guys didn't mean it but it was hard to get myself to believe that and maybe I overreacted"

"No you didn't. You had and still have every right to be angry like if I were in your shoes I'd be all over the place, I wouldn't talk to any of you for months maybe even years"

"We need to work on your forgiveness"
